The Entrecanas menu is bigger than the bible. Notwithstanding that everything we ate, especially the pulpo (char grilled octopus), was excellent the wait staff were all gems. Unfortunately we found this restaurant on our last night in Merida else we would have eaten there more often. We didn't know what to order from the 'bible' so we largely left it... More

This place offers a good variety of small dishes with a fine local touch. Wines are excellent and sold by the glass or bottle. It can be crowded, so consider to reserve a table or just sit at the bar and wait.

We ate twice at Entrecanas - partly because many other places were closed on a Sunday evening, and partly because we liked it the first time. Our second experience was actually better than the first, perhaps because we understood the menu better. Highlight was a freshly-cooked prawn and mushroom risotto. Be warned that although it has a bar, and serves... More

Found this on trip advisor and it was fab! Felt like a real locals place for tapas rather than a tourist attraction, with a laid back style rather than fine dining. Brilliant smiley service with good english, and the menu was also subtitled in english even tho it's not in a tourist hotspot. We (family of 4 with 2 children... More

I ate at this restaurant in the center of Mérida and was rather disappointed. The portions were small, and if you risk yourself at asking for a glass of wine you'll feel in the least cheated. They fill up the glass to about a quarter of its capacity, and charge you a fortune for it.The staff were also very distracted... More

Very friendly personnel, good tapas, and excellent wines. What does one want more at lunch. We particularly appreciated the very good local wines at a friendly price by the glass.

If you're a vegetarian traveling in Spain, you know what I'm talking about. But this place had awesome tapas, for meat eaters and their herbivore friends alike. We had: - boletus croquettes - goat cheese salad - small toasts with mushrooms and quail eggs - home style meat balls in almond sauce - wine & beer The total price was... More
