The setting and the view is divine, the food was ok but rather expensive. The service is however not at all at level for a place that has been ranked as one of Italy's coolest hotels. We would probably go back next year, hoping that there has been a change... There is such potential!

Dear Annamaria, I'm glad that you appreciated the dinner at StellaMaris and enjoyed the location. I can tell you that we use only fresh local fish from Camogli and Santa Margherita small fishing boats. Thank you very much for your review. We hope to see you again. Best Regards More

The perfect location for a romantic weekend... Breathtaking views of the Ligurian sea, in an old but well refurbished mansion a 20 min by boat from Camogli. Extremely fresh and tasty food (fritto misto, kingfish of the day, caprese, strozzapreti al pesto), good local wine (vermentino e bianchetto), very nice waiters and personnel....and if you fancy a swim, the water... This place has a view to die for and the food is very good. I took the daily menu which i find a good deal: starter or primo, secondo, dessert, water and coffee all for 35 euro. Recommended

1st consideration - the place - AMAZING , one of the most beautiful locations in Liguria 2nd consideration - the food - absolutely NORMAL, maybe acceptable if this restaurant was a fast food, but actually here you pay no less than 16 euros for a pasta ; disgusting 3rd consideration - the service - TOTALLY INEFFICIENT - low, unprofessional, inadequate,... My simple suggestion: find your way to this remote cape, take in the awesome view, savor their tasty food, sip some chilled wine, watch the sunset and head back...but steer clear of the SPA: you can call it a fun, different experience or a complete nightmare. I had never seen one with no changing room, an open bathroom with no... More

We took a walk from Camogli to the Punta where the restaurant is located. It took us an hour and it was a worthwile walk because of the sunset at that time. The food was very nice, high quality, nicely prepared and served. Also the recommended Nebbiolo wine was tasty and with 30Euro reasonable priced. The waiter attentif and friendly.... More

We went for lunch one day while staying in Rapallo. The ocean was rough and the usual boats weren't running so the restaurant sent a boat into Portofino to pick us up. It's definitely one of the more unique restaurants in which we've eaten. Upon arrival by boat you have to climb through foot paths and up stairs (over 150... More

The site is just unforgettable. The view, the terrace, the small resort, the SPA, the service and, yes, the food. All builds a truly remarkable experience. Start with a fantastic Vermentino di Lumi, followed by excellent fried ficaccine with pulp.... To die for. Most of their dishes are above average. The presentation is fantastic. Sometimes a bit too rich for... More

While placed in a breathtaking (though not very accessible) location, perched on the Camogli gulf next to the traditional fisheries of Punta Chiappa, the restaurant falls short of expectations. Such a glorious location and scenery should be matched by food just as excellent, especially considering that fresh fish is readily available from local fishermen. My partner and I experienced instead... More

The restaurant is inside the Stella Maris Resort, located in Punta Chiappa, Camogli, on the Mount Portofino, in the Park and overlooking the waters of the Marine Protected Area. The restaurant serves traditional Ligurian cuisine, but also quality meat; Proposals of the sea are made based on fresh local fish directly from the fishermen of Camogli and Santa Margherita. It is a place out of the world, to watch the world ... the restaurant is accessible by boat, using the service from Camogli, or by water taxi; by land, leaving the car in San Rocco, and along a scenic path through the woods that leads to the pass Punta (40 minutes). Lunch or dinner at Stella Maris will allow you to live a unique experience, in an unspoiled spot, projected into the sea, in total relax and privacy, away from the crowds and bustle. The restaurant welcomes its guests in a unique atmosphere, you will live surrounded by nature, in its scents, colors and sounds .... suspended between the blue sky and sea
