Visited Zuiver whilst sailing the "waddenzee", visiting Vlieland and Terschelling. It being late in the season, the restaurant was not full by any stretch. Despite that, the service, while friendly, was slow and not very pro-active. Food was ok, not spectacular except for the mussels which were really good, tasty and cooked just right. Views over the marina are nice.

Nice dishes, nice place (sailing harbor), good view. The service is ok but not brilliant. One of the best places to have lunch or dinner at Vlieland.

This was our second visit and we think it is the best restaurant on the island! Excellent dishes, very original, delicate and pure taste. And very good and friendly service! All passionate about the food. We truly enjoyed it!

Went here with my girlfriend during our short stay on Vlieland. The place serves a 5 course chef's menu for €35. So you don't choose your own food, you just sit back, relax and enjoy the ride. My girlfriend preferred not to eat any pork and the restaurant carefully excluded this from here menu. We really enjoyed the 'surprise menu'... More

I had a really fine evening, tasting fine dishes with some touch of herbs from the island. The wine arrangement fitted very well. The pudding with yazu (a Japanese fruit I never heard of before) was surprisingly delicious. The service was very pleasant, although a mistake was made that was corrected well.

This is beyond a shadow of a doubt one of the better restaurants at the Waddeneilanden. The five course menu was really good especially considering the price! Make a reservation before heading out here!

Just had dinner with my family at restaurant Zuiver. Really enjoyed their EUR 35 surprise menu of five courses. Good food, great wines, very welcoming and attentive service. All in all an excellent choice when at Vlieland!
