We would have liked to try the mussels but every time we went past (three successive nights), it was empty. Also it only seemed to be possible to get a big bucket of mussels rather than having a smaller quantity. To say the menu is extensive is an understatement, old classics and new twists - there is a mussel dish for everyone. A great little restaurant high quality great food, but service was a little slow. They pulled the "we have a problem with the...tap water' gag when we asked for a jug so sell overpriced bottled water. This aside we had a great meal in a relaxed environment. The four of us ordered 4 different flavours of Moules et frites. They were not only excellent, but they were the best that we had in Belgium this time around. The service was also excellent and attentive.

We have eaten in this restaurant MANY times and have always had great food. Unfortunately this time, although the food was superb, the service left a lot to be desired. It seemed that because we were only a party of 3 as opposed to a...large group, making lots of demands, we were rather neglected. My son asked for ketchup with his moules frites and was still waiting 20 minutes later. The waitresses attention was finally grabbed and the ketchup arrived. We also tried to order a second round of drinks only to be told that our waitress would be notified. She never came back and so we ordered no more drinks, paid our bill and left. The cashier was also non plussed when we mentioned and showed him the huge rock that was in my dish that I nearly cracked a tooth on. All he could say was that it looked like a mussel ! Very disappointing.More

Great Saturday in an Indian-summer weekend. Sat with Many others outside in the sun enjoying good food and wine. Great variety on the menu and service friendly if not a little slow .. but the good weather brought out crowds so maybe excusable

Six of us came here for dinner. The unwelcoming faces should have forewarned us. We waited forever for the food to arrive, as others have found the moules had many empty shells, definitely not normal for Belgium. The steaks - well, one was excellent, but...the other two were inedible. Tough, full of gristle. When we complained, they apologised. Will definitely not be going back.More

We enjoyed moules et frites in a chorizo, white wine and cream sauce and classic moules marinière all prepared with fresh tasty ingredients. Sit in the...sunshine on the terrace overlooking the river and soak up the buzzing atmosphere of this beautiful town or sit inside with its cosy, trendy decor and enjoy the friendly atmosphere. Now we know about this great place we will make a special trip to visit this part of the Ardennes as soon as we get the chance.More
