Expectations were high when making reservations on this highly rated restaurant and the 'amuse bouche' began well as well as one of the starters was rather good and the second was decent. However, it was quite a disappointment to realize that - after waiting very...(!) long - the meat was rarely cooked and the quality of the meat was very disappointing. Furthermore, the fish was overcooked. The cheese chosen in stead of dessert consisted of 5 pieces of which 4 were too much of the same kind. The second desert was decent. The quality did not match the price asked for this meal. And the waiting time certainly was not justified either. As waiters are requested to wear masks during the Covid crisis to avoid further spreading the disease, it was a disappointment to notice that the masks were discharged halfway through the meal. When talking with customers from a physical higher position, this will inevitably impose a greater risk to the customer.More

Undercooked fish, hair in food - not even an apology

The food was VERY average, especially considering the price. We were the only people in the restaurant. We got served a fish with a hair in it - the waiter just looked at us and did nothing. Another fish was undercooked, which after being sent...back was still questionable quality. We did not get any rebate, or even an apology - when the bill arrived, we mentioned the two issues again and asked if anything could be done. The answer was a plain ‘Nothing’. Having read other reviews, this does not seem to be an isolated incident. It’s not in line with my expectation when paying €105 for 1 set menu, 1 main course and 3 glasses of champagne (€10 per glass)More

Delicious creative traditional food

Came here on a family trip after a day in the area for dinner. The staff was very friendly, provided warm service. The food was very delicious, varied and creative yet based on traditional cuisine. Waiting time was rather long but otherwise a perfect memorable...experience.More

Amazing Food, well prepared and good service!

My wife found this place as we decided to come back to Bouillon as we enjoyed the town the day before. The restaurant is quite unassuming from the outside but once seated and the food arrived we were very pleased. The food was well presented...and offered a unique (tasty) combination of flavours. We had starters, mains and desert and all of it was delicious. We will visit again when back in the area. Thank you for a welcoming and pleasant service. Note: I am a vegetarian (who eats’ eggs) and they were accommodating.More

Great little gem in Bouillon

Went for a couple's diner here! Started with glass of wine in a really nice and groovy room that might have been a old stone cellar. Then we were invited to join our table. The food was excellent and I highly advise to pick the...3 course menu. Really tasty, good quantities and overall a good quality/price ratio. At the end of the evening the chef (who by the way, prepares all the food on his own) made his round of the tables to meet his clients and get their thoughts on the food. Highly recommended!More

Talented chef, cordial ambience, a great lunch in Bouillon

In Bouillon on a sunny Saturday. Decided to try someplace new--we were so glad we did. La Table des Sepulcrines bills its self as bistronomique--a good nonce word for well-crafted, locally sourced, and delicious food. The fromage brulee in our amuse-bouche was worth the price...of admission all on its own!More

Disappoun

Our experience? Lunchtime 13:30h no other guests No personal attention and no welcome- In stead to leave we stayed! I got salmon because i do not eat meat in the lunchmenu. My wife ordered a steak from the card. With the salmon i got vegetables...with Ham! And also my wife and she has told not to eat porcmeat. The dessert with the menu was okay. Communication with clients is not good in this restaurant including negative atmosphere. Our advise is to be more open minded and give guests feeling to Be welcome etcMore

a bit pretentiousbut well worth a visit

Nice dinner, a bit of stiff service and an inflexible attitude. If you chose for a set menu (well, you dont really have other choice) food is nice and relatively quickly served

Nice food, tasteful serving

It was a surprisingly great dining experience in this lovely little restaurant in the heart of Bouillon. Located right next to our hotel and the positive reviews we decided to pay a visit which we did not regret. The food was truly amazing, nice wine...recommendations with it. The salon area is very pleasant in appearance and a perfect start for our dinner. The staff was very polite, multilingual. It wasn't busy so we were served quite quick.More
