3 star Michelin means worth the journey and we certainly agree with that! We had the tasting menu, with excellent (and very generous) wine pairing with each course. Imaginative and beautiful looking food in a stylish modern setting. Not at all heavy - for example our starter was a marble-size ball of beef tartar, mixed with oyster, in a crisp... More

A big fan of its competitor close by, I wanted to treat myself to a new dining experience with my girlfriend and my parents. Good choice, amazing service and a memorable dining experience. Will be back next time I visit Knokke again!

Everything about this restaurant is nicely in balance with its reputation. Last Sunday, on the occasion of my birthday, my wife and I had invited three other couples for lunch at the Bartholomeus. We opted for the unparalleled menu "Terre et Mer". All courses were superb, but the one that really stood out was the "Wagyu tartare Gillardeau". We took for the sake of convenience the accompanying wines, which were OK,... More

We enjoyed our dinner at Bartholomeus very much. The menu was interesting and creative, very tasty and looked pretty. The only thing I'd do differently the next time is not to go with the wine-pairing.
