a lovely location and very pleasant waiting staff. very disappointed by the deep-frozen, rather than fresh, calamari and other tapas but the serrano was good. merlu was passable, however, the accompanying rice was truly terrible. packet? Overpriced compared with food quality offered in other local restaurants

La Station has always been a family favourite over the years- the menu has changed a lot since we started coming but even though it's less extensive it's still the classic French lake-side experience. We had a delightful evening with a nice atmosphere and pleasant food. It's really quite simple now but good value and there is plenty of it... More

Waiting time far too long. We had Cote de boeuf and it was overcoocked. It was like eating rubber! And if you complain, they treat you as foreigners , so on top of it they seemed to be a little bit racists. Pleaese stay away from this place.

I have visited this place 2 to 3 times a year over the past 5 years. I have experienced it with 3 different owners, only the 1st one succeed in doing something great (probably the reason why he sold btw). My last visit was terrible, the menu has been reduced (which is good if you are looking for fresh cook),... More

Views of a car park, inedible steak, and I think your price ratings are a bit awry because we threw away forty quid a head. Too many good places to eat to waste your time and money on this.

Restaurant is very casual open air. It has a busy noisy atmosphere, is usually very full, and sits on the beach at the northern end of Hossegor Lake near the large roundabout. I ate there twice on my recent holiday and loved it. Service is casual but friendly. You will probably need to reserve a table for peak times in... More

Booked The Station for my family and our French friends. A bit anxious after reading reviews. We were 4 adults and 4 children. We all thought it was excellent- great service, great spot, great food. The tapas and (worryingly named) 'benzine' aperitif were of particular note, along with the brochette St. Jacques. We had a superb evening and will return... More

We have visited Hossegor for the last few years and always wanted to try this restaurant because of it's location but were put off by bad comments from local people. We finally went this after hearing the restaurant had changed hands and were very pleasantly surprised. We were served by a charming female waitress and the food was excellent. I... More

This restaurant has had bad reviews in the past. However, two months ago it was purchased by new owners/operators/cooks. The owners are wonderfully friendly. The cook makes the best cote de boeuf I've ever had and the fish, of course, is fresh and delicious. I highly recommend trying this newly renovated restaurant that will quickly become one of the best... More
