We stayed at Flamsbrygga and joined their snowshoeing and Aegir Viking Plank combo. When we asked about the arrangement of dinner at the hotel reception, the lady said it's fine to go for dinner any time between 6 pm and 9 pm (implying no need to reserve a table). But when we showed up at 7:30 pm. The waiter told... More

Amazing food, beautiful interior. The staff takes really good care of the customers. We were served a five-part dish on one plate accompanied with five different beer-types, each one for each dish. Amazing.

As our hotel did not have its own restaurant we were sent to this one close by. This was the only option unless you went to the only other local hotel as other places were closed at this time of year. We were asked to wait as it was busy and offered a local brewed beer at approx.£7 a pint... More

Me and my boyfriend recently went on a weekend-trip to Flåm and stayed at Flåmsbrygga Hotel right next to Ægir Brewery & Pub. We were originally planning on just eating there the first evening and trying out different places to eat each day, but ended up coming back for dinner throughout our entire stay. We were warmly greeted and welcomed... More

We ate the Aegir Viking plank through the fjordsafari tour and it was amazing! By far, the best food we had the entire trip to Norway! It was a lot of food! I'm not much of a beer drinker but I gave it a shot and LOVED it!

You have to go inside here even if just for a beer by the fireplace. We went for our hotel evening meal but afterwards sat around the fire with a beer and it was fantastic.

We had a meal here which we combined with a fjord safari snow shoe hike tour. Im this package included the tour and the viking plank at the brewery. When we arrived it was a really lovely looking building, and very quiet. There was one guy behind the bar who i think was the manager and he soon seated us... More

After a Fjord tour with my girlfriend, we returned to Flam and despite limited options we couldn't have been happier with our choice to dine here. The restaurant itself is everything I wanted from a Norwegian dining experience, decked out in driftwood to resemble a Viking eatery and a tall circular chimney made it very snug when it was cold... Visited this Brew/pub on a rainy day and arrived for an early dinner. We each had the Viking plank which included the beer pairing and it was really good! YUM! Food and atmosphere was wonderful and would definitely recommend if you are in Flam for dinner! Enjoyed the carvings and definite Norse feel to the dining space. Norse mythology lessons... More

Push open the big wooden doors and you're met with pure Norse; everything is carved from wood, even the chandelier. A huge circular open fire welcomes and warms you as you are greeted by friendly staff offering delicious food and drink. Not cheap (Norway is expensive) but well worth a visit. We loved it.
