The place is an actual butcher shop which turns into a restaurant at dinner’s time. The butcher himself and his wife will provide you a range of their best local products own made and grilled in their kitchen. Everything there from meat to wine and spirits is locally produced, to the point that if you ask for more it may happen that the supplies would run out. We had an abundant dinner and everything was great, the service was very welcoming and I have nothing to complain. If you want to try some local cuisine that’s the right place for you. The welcome and sympathy of the owners and 'was warm and heartfelt. We had passed a Monday but having finished the meat diverted us to an interesting fish restaurant, but I wanted at all costs to go back and so the following Friday with a group of friends, who already knew Cellaro having relatives in the area, finally I could celebrate this that I dare to call ritual for how much grace in the preparation showed me the owner. Excellent grill place found by pure chance. Meat cooked to perfection as per tradition, abundant, quality dishes and honest prices. Michele and his family have a long tradition in this art and know how to make customers feel good. We were unable to taste the lamb skewers because we were full but we will return at the first opportunity. Quiet and familiar environment.

The best steak of my life! We ate amazing, high-quality, tasty and specially cooked meat! All incredibly good. The room in which we ate is welcoming, almost as welcoming as its owners, friendly and generous. Wonderful! An informal and quiet place, perfect for a dinner with friends or family, where good food reigns supreme. We will definitely be back very soon to try everything else!

Excellent place if you want to eat excellent quality and properly cooked meat. Excellent starters of cured meats, cheeses and house pickles. All in very generous doses. Very hospitable owners and excellent service (there were 11 restless children and everything still went smoothly). A piece of advice for the owners is to put plates of the same workmanship as the glasses (ceramic which I love) and perhaps revise the sign a little which could enhance the excellent place it is. Nothing to say about the bill, you can eat perfectly at a price that now seems like a distant memory! I was more than satisfied!

I must say from the outside, I was a bit skeptical since it looks dated and not so well-maintained but looks don't always matter. This place, as suggested in the title, is just simple. The quality of the meat found here is unbelievably superb, with the best "Cotoletta" I have ever eaten. Also, everything is home-made (like Salumi, Wine...) or taken from the near-local bakery, there are no commercial items here except beverages of course (I still have to see a home-made Coca-Cola). Prices are just perfect, nothing to complain about. If there is something I may have to complain about is the bathroom, just one, and small, that's it.
