Took a party of 22 for luncheon, following a stiff walk. Tuesday lunchtime ideal, as it was fairly quiet. The food was pre-ordered, and emerged pretty well at the same time, and was served by very cheerful staff. No complaints at all on quality and...More

We stayed 2 nights and enjoyed eating as well. Food was fine. All of the staff were very attentive, but did lack senior management. You stock a great variety of beer, but there was not the enthusiasm and knowledge to support this. Would recommend as...More

Description
We are proud of our reputation for great local ales and have an amazing regular following, who are not only responsible for the wonderfull lively atmosphere you will find at the Old Hall, but also for allowing such an extensive selection of traditional hand pulled cask ales and ciders to be offered. We offer a home cooked menu, using local produce, with a restaurant that extends into the Old Hall itself, complete with Elizabethan Minstrels Gallery.
