Dropped in whilst passing and to our relief meals were served on a weekday until 2.30pm. Very hospital warm environment. Great food although a little pricey for a weekday lunch out. Would definitely go back on a special occasion or with friends.

We moved here in the last couple of years and this has become a regular when we need a break. They always have excellent service, great food and comfortable yet elegant seating.

Very good menu and surprisingly low prices for the quality. Soft shelled crab and Pigeon breast starters were only £7 each and were delicious. Food was very well presented and staff were friendly. I wish this restaurant was nearer to home!!

Very disappointing. Made to feel unwelcome, very poor service. Certainly not worth the money. Have eaten here several times before and had previously been superb. Will certainly not be returning.

We've enjoyed eating at The Mill Race over the years and had high expectations. They pride themselves on serving locally sourced food. I chose a chargrilled chicken salad which was very good. The leg of lamb with rosti potatoes was also great. The side serving...More
