Dropped by after work for a late lunch and was pleasantly surprised. Had the beef goulash which pleasantly spiced. The offers on craft beers was nice and enjoyed a tall jack black. All in all a pleasant place for a quick meal.

When you ask past you will doubt whether this establishment serves good food. From the outside the place looks rundown and in need of some serious refurbishment. None the less I was attracted by their lunch specials so I stepped. I did not order any...More
Nice spot for a relaxed Saturday night dinner in the heart of vibrant Observatory. The mains were delicious, tried the burger special with blue cheese and figs - great flavour combination. Have to say, bit disappointed in the desserts. These guys are known for their...More
You can't go wrong with Hello Sailor In Observatory Cape Town for good food at good prices. We had cheeseburgers with chips which were delicious while we watched the funky people of Obz make their way down Lower Main Road. Very chilled.
Love the food, love the vibe. Very good value for money. Caters for all. Always try take visitors here.

Food took far too long to arrive (In an almost empty restaurant) French toast was oozing raw egg... "Oh sorry about that.." does not cut it. At last one of the meals should have been scrapped from the bill
The cheesecake is still some of the best I have ever tasted and the French trucker sandwich is still a winner. Service is top notch and the varying board of specials is always a treat.
