After reading a sterling review of the local brewery's Coffee Raspberry Porter, I made a special trip to try it out while in Cape Town. They have a nice selection of beers on tap and bottled. Although I was a bit disappointed in my beer, I still think this is a nice venue if you want a fair spread of... More

BJ's as we call it, is our go to restaurant when feeling lazy to cook or if we need a quick meal. The Jamaican touch is appealing and we love the Chili Poppers and craft beer. I'm happy that Prawn Feta Pasta is on the menu again. Chicken and ribs have not been overwhelming. The vibe is great and nice... More

This was one of the stops on our family jaunt and it was excellent. Great friendly vibe, music not too loud and I was introduced to the versatility of rum from around the world. As a whisky and wine drinker, this was an enlightening education and I won't look at rum the same way again. The service was swift and... More

The service was okay, a bit slow and since the place was somewhat empty that was frustrating. The waitress brought the wrong milkshake and took a long time to get her attention to let her know. The food portion was decent though the pork was tough. I was a bit disappointed as I remember the place being much more enjoyable.

I've visited this place several times and recommended it to the group of us who were visiting Cape Town. There's a vast selection of craft ales from around the world and many local brews, they even have their own brewery! On the evening the 14 of us visited they were already very busy and parking proved a bit of a... More

This restaurant has a great chilled vibe (ma'an), friendly staff and tasty, interesting dishes. We have eaten here about 6 times and it has never disappointed us. They have a great range of craft beers as well as rums in the Rum Shack (which we haven't been brave enough to try yet!). The chill factor and atmosphere is 'high' which... More

Wonderful outside and inside seating, 30 different craft beers. On the popular 2nd Avenue area Kenilworth, with a street full Of great restaurants. Also near station, so travel from CBD, is so easy.

This place is tucked away, and on entering one is pleasantly surprised by tables and chairs in a garden setting, with plenty more indoors. The staff are all polite and well mannered. The cocktails were good and the food amazing. Food is truly first class. Although off my route, I will certainly make sure I visit again.
