I booked a table for 12.45, 9/9/17, even left a mobile no. as requested. After our visit to Churnet Valley Railway went to the Inn for our Lunch only to find that it was closed. We have not heard anything from them since.

Popped in for lunch whilst visiting the Churnet Valley Railway. The décor is railway themed but not excessively so. The pub was just finishing being renovated when we visited, but that notwithstanding the food was good if a little unusual, with flatbreads offered rather than...More

I was looking forward to a typically English pub Sunday roast lunch, sadly to have beef I had to have two types and to have lamb I had to have three different cuts, to me the flavours compete. I was pleased to see a Bordeaux...More

Description
We are a Traditional Pub with food, excellent Real Ale and Accommodation. We have a large car park and a good sized beer garden. Also a small function room. We are opposite the Churnet Valley Steam Railway. Only 15min drive from Alton Towers. There are lots of lovely walks in the area.
