Came for lunch for my grans 90th birthday, she had the rainbow trout which looked fabulous and seemingly tasted delicious too, the only thing that let it down was the poor/slow service, also, the pate that my sister and I had was warm and runny...More

Thank you for taking the time to write a review & glad to hear you were served promptly. Its a pity that your teacake wasn't buttered to your liking, we would have brought you some extra butter if you had only asked. All our sandwiches...More

We stopped here for lunch following a walk on the Wolds but would be absolutely lovely place for a little trip out with family members. Was very busy on a Tuesday lunchtime, and were advised on arrival that the food may be delayed as they...More

Scones and jam in an open courtyard and nice coffees make Wolds Village a must visit if you're in the area. Haven't had a main meal there recently. Only issue on our latest visit in July was the fact that the chocolate scone had disappeared...More

We have been here several times previously, but this time our lunches were so good, and the staff so friendly and helpful, that we thought we would put our thoughts on Trip Advisor. I had Steak Pie which was well filled, large tender pieces of...More

We went on a Saturday afternoon/early evening for tea with our 3 kids. The staff put us somewhere where we wouldn't be bothered by anyone else which was thoughtful, as we had 2 little ones and they can be loud! The kids meals were huge,...More

Quite a versatile food offering from cakes, sandwiches, afternoon tea, snacks and more substantial meals. Option to dine inside or in delightful courtyard area - not sure if latter for snack only ? Efficient and friendly staff. Reasonably priced.

It's a restaurant & tea room with rooms to stay over. The resturant is open in the evenings not sure whether you can just go for a drink not really a bar as such to sit in but there is seating outside.
