Can't fault the food here. Visited with friends and all of us found something we liked on the menu. Not the cheapest eatery in the area but deffo worth the money

We decided we wanted to go out for lunch at the last minute, so took a trip over to the Elveden Inn. When we arrived it was quite busy, so expected to have to wait a while for our food. The staff were wonderfully friendly & actually looked like they enjoyed working there. The food was excellent and didn't take... More

Went here for my birthday lunch on a Sunday as we were staying nearby. We booked in advance as we know it's always busy. We read online that the pub was dog friendly but once we arrived we realised this was only the case if we sat in the bar area. Luckily a table became free and was almost in... More

I had been looking forward to my visit for lunch but having to wait over an hour for our main courses it has put me off a revisit. The squash and halloumi starter was oily and tasteless and the beef was too rare for most of our party. Desserts were far the best part of the meal, what a shame.

We had been at Centre Parcs and stopped for a bite of lunch on Monday, a delightful little pub with fresh decor but the lunch clientele were a bit noisy. Service was fine and the staff were helpful but had to wait a while for our food to be served,it was good but not exceptional but the burgers were well... More

The first part of a double dining experience on successive days in Norfolk. It was here I was meeting an old school friend for lunch, he had flown over from Southern Ireland to visit his mother who lived down the road and who he had invited along. I pulled into the car park a few minutes after our pre-arranged 1300... More

We went as a family (5 adults, 1 child) for our Sunday roast after staying in the Centre Parcs site. The food was really nice, the staff were equally polite and helpful. The only downside was they didn't have much of a choice for desert on the Sunday menu. The only chocolate desert was sold out, which was disappointing, but... More

Probably great for the family with kids which wants a basic meal, but does not rise much above that for choice or quality of food. Staff are attentive and polite and prices are modest, but very noisy at times and not pleasant for adults who want a pleasant meal on a Saturday evening.

Dear Reviewer Thanks for your feedback. At the customers request we do have a quieter area to eat in our six day room. We do tend to put families in our garden room as it is closest to the play area. We are a family led business during the day but certainly do cater for relaxed pleasant dining. Please come... More

Nice setting and furnishings but bad service, (too many covers to cope), no atmosphere (as too overcrowded) and food not up to standard. Did not taste fresh. Won't be returning.
