My friend and I went to eightysix on Saturday for the 6pm seating. It was the first time for both of us but had heard many mixed reviews. We both chose to do the all-you-can-eat for $86 which was a fantastic choice! We are both...More

Went to eightysix for my partner's birthday dinner (just the two of us). We opted for the $86 'all-you-can-eat' option so we could try a variety of dishes. This option allows anything on the dinner or dessert menu (except the lamb shoulder) and does not...More

Like others, the food was great tasting but oh so small. You can’t get away with a $44 chicken dish that has 2 legs. Whilst I would love to go back. I don’t think so. Better value elsewhere.

A mixed review for this restaurant that came highly recommended. Five of us for a birthday dinner were seated quickly and the menu explained. We ordered a rocket man ($20) and a peach bellini ($16) plus others, when the drinks were delivered we actually questioned...More

The food is great and fresh. Service is fast and professional. The price however is quite pricey with a small shared portion. All you can eat menu is an option but it's increased from $86 to $95 without drinks. Highly recommend the pumpkin tortellini for...More

Eightysix has long been one of our favourite restaurants, so naturally we decided to ring in the New Year there. We knew they changed up the menu frequently and checked it before we went. Disappointingly, they had removed a number of our favourites. We accept...More

Visited 86 again recently and am a little bit concerned that some things are slipping. The food was excellent; novel and tasty. However, the portion sizes have shrunk and it takes a lot of shared plates to satisfy one’s hunger! The staff are attentive and...More

Depends where you sit. Just ask for the quietest location when you book. It can be quite noisy in the middle, but not as bad as other smaller, more packed places.
