Cookery Nook make and serve easily the best tasting Pizza's in Belconnen, forget about franchise crappy cardboard tasting pizza go and try the REAL deal! Their other menu food is also quite tasty and very reasonably priced. The staff are all very friendly and always up for a chat. I highly recommend the pizza with the lot then ask them... More

We used get pizza from Cookery Nook an reckoned it was the best in the Belconnen area. We always got Supreme. The new owners have changed the recipe, adding far too much mince and leaving out the pepperoni. We tried another sort, asking them to add olives, anchovies, and pepperoni. It was a bit closer to the old recipe, but... More

And the pizzas are some of the best in Canberra. A hidden gem just west of Belconnen! Great chippy and yummy brekkie!

I have eaten from the Cookery Nook for the past 25 years, and have seen it go through a few owners. The current owners may just make the best pizza the Nook has seen and its seen some good ones. I recommend all their food. It is a traditional take away Pizza, Fish and Chips, Charcoal Chickens. Nothing fancy but... More

Can not and will not think of pizza in the same way again. All the food is great and a cool little traditional fish and chip shop atmosphere.

I CAN NOT and WILL NOT eat pizza from another place again....they make the best pizza I'm Canberra, their burgers are pretty bloody good and the bacon and egg rolls are just awesome! The slow roasted chickens are some of the tastiest I have devoured and most of all the service is friendly, down to earth and always inviting. Recommended!

Had a pizza and a burger from here during a stay at the local motel. Were fabulous. Also ate at the nearby soccer club - had the worst meal there (seafood basket) I've ever had.

This is a jewel in the crown, for lovers of pizza, lovely staff, and value for money sit-down experiences. It feels like a family place, and staff are always accomodating (families / oldies / kids). They have a small restaurant next door serving the same great slow-fast food from next door. Pizza is a favourite, and expect generosity and great... More

Its a pity that only now I realized this little shop is the best, perhaps in the world as far as I concerned. I am a Malaysian, studied in Canberra, lived in Hawker in the early 80s. I have been all over the world since then and I have yet to find a restaurant as good as this place, in... More

We ate here in March 2012. It is a cute little Italian place (the place next to the food bar). Good pasta and good menu choices. Service is enthusiastic but needs polishing.
