Came across this restaurant and decided to try it out, so glad we did. Everything from the tapas plates we shared to our churros & espresso martini at the end were all delicious. Will definitely be back again!

If you are looking for Spanish Tapas for vegetarians: Subsolo is where you will find it. Upon my holiday to Sydney in April, my sister organized a ladies night and Subsolo was chosen as the dinner venue. It was simply lovely! warm, cozy, dim lighting.. just what was needed on that cold night in Sydney. The food was delicious in... More

Christmas work get together. Great spot and friendly staff. Spanish tapas or set menu. Food was awesome and so was the atmosphere of the restaurant.

Located downstairs with a dark, atmospheric smart décor. Good friendly service but disappointed with the food. Calamari was okay but nothing to rave about and the paella was smallish and again nothing to rave either - no WOW factor from presentation or flavour

Excellent for large groups with generous portions and lots of meat dishes and great selection of beer. Not a wise choice for vegetarians. Decor a bit " brothel" like but very friendly and prompt service.

The first thing that strikes you about this place is the ambiance of it. The dim lights and background music all make this restaurant a great place for the night. But it doesn't stop there.. The service is amazing, and the good is quite tasty and generous. If I want to be picky, I would say it's a little noisy... More

We ate here for a work function. The restaurant can be accessed down stairs off the main street, the decor and atmosphere is really nice as you walk into the main restaurant area. There is an extensive wine menu with cheapest wines at around $39, wines are Spanish, I had a Spanish cider at $20 for a 750ml bottle, it... More

Great atmosphere in this place, menu was awesome. Share plates are great as they are not too big. Would recommend this place for all occasions.
