The menu at sepia remains a secret until the evening. However, as each course arrives each complimented it predecessor. The staff were absolutely fantastic on the evening as was the sommelier. Sepia certainly gives the diner a culinary experience with bold confident flavours in a...More

Came here for our 6 year anniversary and had the degustation with matching wines. Every course was just exceptional and the wines paired well. The service was great and the ambience in the restaurant was somewhat relaxed despite the fine dining experience. I hear it...More

The spanner crab dish was the very best.it was a ten out of ten and most of the others weren't far behind. The wait staff were great, the French girl, flawless as the sommelier. A credit to the kitchen staff. Loved it.

We visited for lunch and had the 9 course menu. Service was excellent - highly knowledgeable wait staff and an in-depth wine list. We marvelled over each dish that came out and had a lot of trouble picking a favourite - each one was our...More

I am a complete lover of the the little secret bargain gems you find in Sydney where the food is incredible and cheap, and, as much as I want to, I don't often venture out to the expensive fine dining options. But we decided to...More

There is a reason for this restaurant to be top in NSW (according to the latest AFR ranking). The place is superb for food, service and wine. The most important thing for a restaurant is of course the food. Sepia was able to deliver impeccable...More

I took my partner here last weekend to celebrate his birthday. From the moment we arrived the service was faultless. We of course had the tasting menu (your only option on a Saturday night), and had the wine pairing option as well as the cheese...More

Sepia is a fine restaurant. The culinary skills and creativity exhibited by the staff here are quite good, and superior to the place by the harbour for the same price. Here are a few things to consider: 1. Sepia's lease is up within the year,...More

I am surprised that Sepia didn't rate a mention in the top 100. Maybe it is because of the bias against Asian in this case Japanese influenced. I do not think it is that far from Dinner by Heston which we tried previous year. Food...More

Let me start by saying that the food was nice but extremely overpriced. When you're paying that much money, I, at least expect a quiet meal with pleasant music. The restaurant was very loud with upbeat music, in my opinion, more suited to a bistro...More

The Sydney Central Business District is abuzz with

frequent the many celebrity chef restaurants. For a
dose of culture, walk to the NSW Art Gallery, or visit

I wouldn't say this place is kid friendly. There are no high chairs and the food is catered for an adult. Plus it would ruin the experience for someone who wants to enjoy their luxurious dinner.
