I went here with my fiance for dinner and one thing I will advise: THE PORTIONS ARE BIG! We were very surprised, thinking its Rockpool so the portions will be quite small so naturally we over ordered and couldn't finish. The clams - absolutely delicious. We got duck and T-Bone, they were okay, the t-bone was quite burnt so would... More

We paid a little over AUD 400 for two appetizers, two entrees, one martini, and a bottle of wine (under $100). My husband raved about the sushi appetizer he had, but was disappointed in the tuna entree (nothing special). I had a salad and the small wagyu filet mignon. I have to say that I have never had a filet... More

Best wagyu burger around, steaks pretty good too, very busy place, we stayed in the bar area . Stunning building inside, great atmosphere, a must if you want a great place to eat in Sydney. It's very dark in there, adds to the ambience I guess, staff very attentive.

lovely interiour with dim lights relaxing and chill atomsphere. The main dishes are very nice and a good portion. They have a big selection on drinks. I suggest try their own brand Rockpool larger and wine. Very nice. Staff are welcoming and helpful about the menu to people like who cannot understand foreign words of the dishes. Their starters were... More

Had the 60 month 48 day dry aged steak 350 gram. DON'T. Thinnest least tasty piece of meat I have ever had.

Staff is overly snobbish and arrogant to a point of being rude. Meal was just average, with the sides being the most disappointing feature. At those prices take your money elsewhere.

Sunday 7.30pm for dinner To be honest I had expected more in terms of quality of food but I was a little disappointed. From the moment we walked in, the decor exuded an atmosphere of fine dining and quality service. We were seated near the windows directly facing the kitchen which was a nice table. Unfortunately (and not Rockpool's fault)... More

For starters, Rockpool is in what used to be an insurance company building, and the scene reeks of money. Bring plenty of that yourself - you'll need it. Lunch for two ran $300. Granted, the beef was Wagyu (and fabulous!), and we had wines by the glass, but still, $300 is a bit over the top. The highlight was the... More

From the moment you enter this beautiful heritage restaurant until you leave, feeling replete, it is a wonderful experience. Well trained, knowledgeable staff. Unobtrusive but efficient. The best steak, perfectly cooked, can't wait to return.

Unimaginative, boring food. The Wagyu beef is an item that can stand on it's own (just don't screw it up) but it arrived with nothing else, and was very pricy. The John Dory was horrid. Tasteless, and on a plate with not even a sprig of parsley. Small portions and high prices disappoint. The venue was spectacular, but it couldn't... More
