If it wasn't for the accents you could be sitting in Paris Lovely traditional decor Waiter was efficient and knowledgable Food was excellent. A variety of entrees were all positively commented on The steak frites was served exactly as requested and though expensive was a large serving Steak was very tender and full of flavour, which was complemented by the... We visited last week, a couple for a date night. The food was excellent; my gnocchi was just wonderful, the passionfruit souffle delightful. The wines were fine by the glass. Just 2 elements marred a 5/5 experience. Our waiter was too "familiar", he kept disappearing and nor returning, but also then reappeared finally whilst I was obviously reading a message... More

I have been to Felix on a number of occasions taking overseas visitors and friends for lunch or dinner. I have never been disappointed nor have my guests. I have found the staff to be efficient and friendly on the majority of visits. It's a five minute walk from WYNARD station so convenient to access with public transport. Restaurant ambience... More

Bar staff - old school rude and snobbish. Wait staff - SO rude, came to ask if we were ready to order less than 5 minutes after being seated. Came and asked again 5 mins later and rolled their eyes when we needed another minute "and by the way can you please see where our drinks order is". Food -... More

Had dinner at this venue on Anzac Day. There is an air of superiority that is not justified. The food was reasonable but was poor value for money. The wine list is very poor, dominated by French wine that was not up to standard.

Felix has a great ambience and proves that classic dining never really goes out of style as it takes things back to a Neo-classic French dining style with all the waiters picked to look somewhat cool. Sitting in the laneway was also really good but when all was said and done the food really didn't live up to the hype... More

Description
Nestled in Sydney's Ash Street laneway, this elegant bistro’s classic French fare is perfectly matched by an extensive wine list.

Felix is affectionately designed as a romantic homage to the quintessential French brasserie. Diners are charmed by its many authentic touches; like walls featuring real Parisian subway tiles, imported French chandeliers, a beautiful pewter bar and food delivered by waiters in traditional long-aprons.
