I’ve said it before, restaurants and more particularly staff who are confident in the quality of their cuisine do not need to interrupt you halfway through a mouthful, and often a pleasant conversation, to ask you if “everything is ok?” Firstly, if I had been...More

Wow! It is always fun to interact with waitstaff who take their role seriously but not themselves seriously .... and with whom we were able to share jokes about the food and the football. However, the true delight was a degustation menu to savour for...More

This is one of my favourite restaurants in Sydney and still my favourite fine dining experience. The dining room sets the tone for a sublimely perfect evening, and the wait staff ensure that that's exactly what you get. The wine and drinks menu is well...More

What can I say I am not easily pleased and I had very high expectations of the bridge room and they fulfilled every one of them. The service was efficient and friendly and not intrusive. All of the staff were very knowledgeable when it came...More

The restaurant was able to accommodate our dietary constraints and still allow us to have the seven course tasting menu, which we are grateful for and probably wasn't easy on their part. The food was pretty good. Flavors were very subtle but everything was well...More

Loved it. Excellent food and even more so service. I would have rated it 5 stars but couldn’t put it over that bar. Still, I would go there again. Very cool!

One of our top dining experiences would have to be recently at The Bridge Room Sydney. We went for the degustation and the menu was well balanced, creative and delicious. Service was warm and professional. The restaurant itself is absolutely stunning, with every small detail...More

The Bridge Room has quickly become a Sydney foodie favourite. Having been the multiple times now, we are always delighted and more than pleasantly surprised by the culinary exploits of Ross Lusted, his kitchen brigade and service team. Love that the menu is doing something...More

A great meal. Interesting [and some expensive] wine list. Service was attentive without being intrusive. Food is modern Australian. We love this place.

Central Business District
The Sydney Central Business District is abuzz with
energy. Power brokers run to and from high rise
buildings and after-work drink places, high-end
shoppers tour venues like the QVB, and fine diners
frequent the many celebrity chef restaurants. For a
dose of culture, walk to the NSW Art Gallery, or visit
the Sydney Museum. To escape the hustle and bustle,
reconnect with nature at the Sydney Botanical Gardens

Maybe not near the door...but otherwise it's a fairly straightforward simple dining room.

Based on my experience, dinner 1 week ago, they are neither snobbish or uninterested. I would happily go there regularly.
