Went to the Bridge Room a couple weeks ago for my sisters graduation and 2 servers would not stop staring at my sisters chest. It started when we came in and became more and more obvious. When confronted they finally stopped but it was completely...More

We had been to LuMi the previous night which is a 5 star knockout, so we were expecting something pretty special from The Bridge Room. While the food was excellent it didn’t have the creative flair that we anticipated and there was nothing unique. The...More

Another birthday dinner and another wonderful meal. The standout for me this time was the ash grilled duck main and the whipped black sesame dessert. My husband shared some of his Tete de Moine cheese and it was as good as I'd hoped. Delicious!

If I can describe how good this place is, it is definitely better than those 3 hatted establishments. Their dishes remind me of Sixpenny in Stanmore. The service is warm & cheerful and each dish I had is flavoursome & interesting. Highly recommend to those...More

We went for a special occasion - I didn't choose so had no idea what to expect. I have to confess, I found the decor/location a little underwhelming but we don't really go for that. There was a nice buzz about the place when we...More

Let me start by saying Bridgeroom probably deserves its 3 hats. The food is exceptional. However, as with most upmarket restaurants in Australia, the staff have no ability to engage with diners in a convivial and mutually enjoyable exchange that enhances the dining experience. I...More

Service is to a very high standard; ambience was pleasant. The food is outstanding. Wines were varied and interesting - had a Sardinian wine which we were introduced to on a winery tour in July 2017, fantastic to find it in Sydney.

Central Business District
The Sydney Central Business District is abuzz with
energy. Power brokers run to and from high rise
buildings and after-work drink places, high-end
shoppers tour venues like the QVB, and fine diners
frequent the many celebrity chef restaurants. For a
dose of culture, walk to the NSW Art Gallery, or visit
the Sydney Museum. To escape the hustle and bustle,
reconnect with nature at the Sydney Botanical Gardens

Maybe not near the door...but otherwise it's a fairly straightforward simple dining room.

Based on my experience, dinner 1 week ago, they are neither snobbish or uninterested. I would happily go there regularly.
