We went for a special occasion - I didn't choose so had no idea what to expect. I have to confess, I found the decor/location a little underwhelming but we don't really go for that. There was a nice buzz about the place when we...More

Let me start by saying Bridgeroom probably deserves its 3 hats. The food is exceptional. However, as with most upmarket restaurants in Australia, the staff have no ability to engage with diners in a convivial and mutually enjoyable exchange that enhances the dining experience. I...More

Service is to a very high standard; ambience was pleasant. The food is outstanding. Wines were varied and interesting - had a Sardinian wine which we were introduced to on a winery tour in July 2017, fantastic to find it in Sydney.

I have wanted to eat here for a long time & was a little disappointed to hear they'd dropped a hat in the latest Good Food awards after I'd booked. The food & service was good but not exceptional & a little overpriced I felt....More

When I telephoned and asked for a cake as it was my son's 21st, I was told that they did not provide cakes but would put a candle amidst the petit fours; seemed like a nice idea. Unfortunately on the day there were no petit...More

Can’t rate this restaurant more highly with the very attentive and approachable staff, fantastic wine list with plenty of variety and food that is exceptional. Ross the chefs quail dish needs to be tried and the relaxed but professional atmosphere of our dining experience was...More

Went here with a well known foodie Sydney mate who knows every restaurant (and chef) in town. So I knew it would be good, but it was staggeringly good. I had a piece of poached cod that was one of the best things I've ever...More

Central Business District
The Sydney Central Business District is abuzz with
energy. Power brokers run to and from high rise
buildings and after-work drink places, high-end
shoppers tour venues like the QVB, and fine diners
frequent the many celebrity chef restaurants. For a
dose of culture, walk to the NSW Art Gallery, or visit
the Sydney Museum. To escape the hustle and bustle,
reconnect with nature at the Sydney Botanical Gardens

Maybe not near the door...but otherwise it's a fairly straightforward simple dining room.

Based on my experience, dinner 1 week ago, they are neither snobbish or uninterested. I would happily go there regularly.
