Coffee was good and strong as what you would expect from AU's great coffee culture. Ended up going back to the same place for coffee every day in the city. Had the F.A.T on one occasion and it was good stuff. Place does not accept cards for payment. Service was passable.

Seen a bunch of people with an ice frappe and asked for one! It was pretty good and refreshing. Also noticed they used real good quality inside out almond milk too.

Extremely friendly baristas who were interested in their customers and love their jobs because they get to chat! Well made coffee made on brilliant equipment and a very central location. Loved the water jug full of ice and fresh fruit too.

Tiny little place on George St; Walk right up.. open store front.. maybe 8 seats.. most people order their cup of Joe to go, I sat and enjoyed mine there as I observed them pump out great coffee like a well oiled machine... Food coming out of the kitchen looked great although I did not try anything from the food... More

It might be small, not much larger than a hole in the wall, but it serves delicious coffee and some good breakfast. A place to go for some coffee/brekky take away in CBD. Friendly and courteous staff.

Great location for a good coffee hit in town. Located in a small hole in the wall opposite the QVB. Recommend

I had the F.A.T. Was quick service and fresh. Easy to eat on the run. 5 stars for the purpose of my visit which was a quick healthy brekky on the run. Priced good at $9.95.

The impressive thing about workshop is that they maintain consistency of quality even when they are under the pump (which is often). This is not a sit down style cafe and is best enjoyed as a quick takeaway and had at adjoining food court below Gallerias. Not the cheapest but hey, it's Sydney!

Staying in Central Business District

Neighbourhood Profile
Central Business District
The Sydney Central Business District is abuzz with energy. Power brokers run to and from high rise buildings and after-work drink places, high-end shoppers tour venues like the QVB, and fine diners frequent the many celebrity chef restaurants. For a dose of culture, walk to the NSW Art Gallery, or visit the Sydney Museum. To escape the hustle and bustle, reconnect with nature at the Sydney Botanical Gardens or picnic lunch at High Park. No matter your interest, be sure to check the full calendar of events hosted by the city, from the Sydney Festival in January to October’s Good Food Month at Hyde Park.
