Not much larger than a hole in the wall, Workshop probably serves the best coffee in Sydney CBD not too mention scrumptious jam doughnuts and fresh croissants. It might be small, but it's very good.

This has been my favorite CBD coffee shop for the past two years. The coffee has been reliably good and the food excellent. Unfortunately, the quality and consistency has deteriorated over the past few months and they're at risk of losing my custom. There are still a few very friendly staff there including the two lovely ladies who always smile... More

Perfect for a quick Good coffee and pastry to take and wander the shops or Hyde park up the road. Currently roadworks in front so hides the place a bit.

Wow. Just Wow. Stumbled across this gem in George street while looking for a coffee fix... Thank god we did.... Beautiful friendly faces and the coffee was out of this world. Went back the next day after dreaming about it that night and the staff remembered our order...(sure sign of a good barista)! Will go out of my way to... More

I had read about this place online and was glad to accidentally walk by it. They make great cappuccinos! Highly recommended for a coffee to go (not much seating space)

If you're after a really good coffee and a quick snack then pop in here. Seating is limited so you're not inclined to sit a long time but the coffee is too nice to pass by. I also had a salted caramel cronut which I was unable to resist.

I've been here many times when visiting Sydney, and it's always good coffee here. Nice cafe food too - bacon and egg roll with chilli jam or bbq sauce is a winner.

Service was lovely. It's a small coffee shop in the CBD. They have great coffee, and I also had a delicious fruit and nut slice as a snack, but there was a good variety of options. And I can't forget about the wonderful coffee!

Great coffee, food and energy. Staff friendly and relaxed ambience. I have almond milk and they managed to make my cappuccino as tasty and with as great a texture I used to enjoy with real milk. The egg and bacon roll amazing value for money. They have a great selection of donuts and other tasty treats. 10/10!

Staying in Central Business District

Neighbourhood Profile
Central Business District
The Sydney Central Business District is abuzz with energy. Power brokers run to and from high rise buildings and after-work drink places, high-end shoppers tour venues like the QVB, and fine diners frequent the many celebrity chef restaurants. For a dose of culture, walk to the NSW Art Gallery, or visit the Sydney Museum. To escape the hustle and bustle, reconnect with nature at the Sydney Botanical Gardens or picnic lunch at High Park. No matter your interest, be sure to check the full calendar of events hosted by the city, from the Sydney Festival in January to October’s Good Food Month at Hyde Park.
