Called here for a late lunch. Really fancied a seafood salad and went for the poached prawn salad. You would think as it is called the Searock grill it would be good. But no the salad arrived with 4 prawns which at $28 makes each prawn $7!! I called the waiter over who didn't apologise or even acknowledge my point... More

I was in the city and my firends and I came across this restaurant. We where seated promptly. The selection on the menu was acceptable. The waitress was very helpful and accomadating. The food I had the fish and chips whic was so greasy you could have cooked another meal with all the grease. The garlic bread way to hard to chew. My friend... More

A place where they think their location means they can slack off because they'll get the tourists anyway. It took 15 mins for someone to take our order, and we asked 3 different waiters over that time. Seafood was not fresh and the king prawns were overpriced (4 prawns for $26??). Would not recommend.

Perched right on the quayside of the Central Quays this very popular venue was our dinner location twice during our stay in Sydney. On both occasions we had an excellent bottle of Australian Shiraz with our food which included Kanagroo Steak, rib eye steak and crab and prawns, be aware that there is a 10% surcharge on at weekends. But... More

A nice clean restaurant, lots of interesting b/w photos on the walls. Service was very friendly. As kangaroo burger was on the menu, we had to try that. It was served with nice crisp chips and tomato sauce on the side, we also asked for some mayo which was promptly served. Apart from the usual burgers, kangaroo burger rested on... More

I was walking past on a rainy day and noticed the specials menu was reasonably priced, for this area. The service prompt but completely lacked personality from the 3 waiters/waitresses that served me. There was no 'hello, how are you today?' Or 'is this your first time in Sydney', which I've experienced everywhere else. The restaurant is quite noisy but... More

Dined here 4 times in the past year, steaks were done nicely according to order, and you can't go wrong with the calamari fillets, though I'd advise that to be shared as it's a large portion even for a starter. The grilled tiger prawns were nice but I thought the ones at Hugo's Manly were better. The Wagyu sirloin's not... More

Bad customer service, had to ask for table water after being seated for some time in the middle of a heatwave, after 30 minutes my meal arrived cold with avacodo tasting like it came out of a tube.

We stopped for a light lunch when sightseeing in the city. The view was lovely but that was where the good parts stopped. The food itself was ok, just a bit average but I wouldn't have minded that if we had reasonable service. In the mostly empty outside area it still took a while to seat us, then after a... More

We went here for a pre-dinner drink last night. We chose from the wine list and I was surprised that what was supposed to be a $20 bill had turned into $24.20. I queried this with the manager, as I am certain of the prices in the wine list I was given, and was advised that 10% is added as... More

Staying in Central Business District

Neighbourhood Profile
Central Business District
The Sydney Central Business District is abuzz with energy. Power brokers run to and from high rise buildings and after-work drink places, high-end shoppers tour venues like the QVB, and fine diners frequent the many celebrity chef restaurants. For a dose of culture, walk to the NSW Art Gallery, or visit the Sydney Museum. To escape the hustle and bustle, reconnect with nature at the Sydney Botanical Gardens or picnic lunch at High Park. No matter your interest, be sure to check the full calendar of events hosted by the city, from the Sydney Festival in January to October’s Good Food Month at Hyde Park.
