Wow what a lovely experience and a beautiful day in an inner city surrounding. I went with my husband and both had the goat cheese and pumpkin risotto. Sooo lovely followed by the best cake I've had for a while. Great time. Thanks😄

We chanced upon this at 11.30 pm when we had just arrived after long flight and everything else was closed - the staff gave us a lovely welcome to Australia so we went back for a full meal the next day - always good to find a completely veggie restaurant

Look this is probably the oldest cafe on the strip and most iconic. But it's also the most disappointing Look it's a vegetarian restaurant The staff are hit and miss. It's dirty. The toilets are awful.

Unhelpful and inattentive staff. It was quite busy and I am visually impaired so I asked a staff member to help me find a table, I was told quite dismissively that there might be one down the back or there was one "over there" pointing behind me. I took a seat, had to grab the waitresses attention to order then... More

Simply one of he best veg restaurants around. Tasty food, good variety and huge portions. Slightly cramped seating arrangements. Open till midnight so always a chance of superb coffee and cake. Difficult to find a negative.

Went late on a Saturday when it was absolutely packed. After a couple of minutes a table became free & we were directed to it. The place was busy with diners. We gave our orders and a couple of minutes later the waitress reappeared to tell us one item was no longer available. This news was delivered courteously & apologetically.... More

I walked in off the street for a quick meal. The staff were both welcoming & polite & the service was prompt. My order was the mushroom risotto which was pleasant & filled the spot but was a trifle heavy. The sidewalk table gave a great view of the passing parade on Glebe Point Road.

The menu is extensive and the size of meals are generous. The flavors are great and the coffee good. Well worth a visit and deserts look great.

Fabulous menu at great prices. As a family of 4 with one vegetarian daughter and a meat loving husband we were all happy with our choices. Would definitely go back as there was so many things that looked great. I had Moroccan fritters which were amazing. Large serving was too much for me but hubby happily finished off. All desserts... The fries were absolutely gross. It was probably the frozen fries that you get and reheat. Made me super sick and it was so overpriced at $7. Yuck.

Staying in Glebe

Neighbourhood Profile
An inner city suburb along the water, Glebe has a deep-rooted sense of cultural history and heritage. It originated as a semi-rural resort for the well-to-do, but has transformed into a student-centric melting pot. Visit Glebe Point Road for ethnic cuisine as standard as Mexican, Indian, Italian and Chinese, or as diverse as Spanish, Bavarian, Polish, Czech and Lebanese. You will find that Glebe is accepting of the eccentrics and aboriginals that roam the streets, integrating students and people of all economic statuses into the multi-cultural fabric that distinguishes this suburb. Glebe Foreshore is a great destination for a leisurely walk along the Bay, and the Saturday market is a great scene for bargain hunters.
