We visited here for a quick dinner. The staff were attentive and service was relatively quick. My wife and I ordered stir fries and both thought that some of the vegetables were over cooked, especially the carrots. I had tofu and there was only two pieces. The prices were a little higher than other similar restaurants. There were a lot... More

We were there for dinner. Disinterested staff. Forgot to bring wine. Super slow service. Red curry prawns had so much garlic you couldn't taste much else. Other dishes very average Much better Thai elsewere. Wouldn't recommend

We had dinner here before a show at the Enmore Theatre - fast service and beautifully presented dishes. Great service and ample size meals. The menu was varied and it was hard to choose what dish!

The restaurant downstairs in the Banking is a nice spot to go, with some indoor and outdoor dining areas. It can be cold but there are eaters. The food is pretty good too but it is just a little pricy.

I used to eat here frequently 10-15 years ago and come back every year or so. Banks' holds a special memory of a time when I lived locally. Not only was the food fantastic and well priced, but it was a pretty cool place, with atmosphere and charm. As usual, the wife would say "can we try something different" but... More

Seafood in green curry, BBQ pork and tiny spicy meatballs served on individual white spoons ......... oh my oh my! I don't think people know this place as this is the second time I have been there, and there are not many people eating. Food is exceptional, and the service shy, but efficient. I love this place!

Oh well, really Thai flavour, best service and food on the table within 5 minutes... What else do you want? I think the meals are well served, and good value for the money My favourite Thai restaurant around Newtown

The food was ok but nothing crazy. Had better Thai in the newtown area The owner was really rude at us and when his card machine wasn't working and my friend helped himself to second complementary sweet. He leant over grabbed a full handful and chucked them at him.

We ordered Chili Basil with chicken which was EXTREMELY spice, even for our authentic Indian taste buds. When asked for replacement, host agreed easily but we realised that they took our plates away, washed the chicken and served them again to us. Price was comparatively higher as compared to other Newtown Thai joints, taste was very average.

I broke up with this restaurant... We had a few lousy meals together and I snuck behind their back with other Thai restaurants... But, recently, I casually dropped by for some chilli basil stir fry... and things got hot all over again... I think we are seeing each other regularly once more. When they are on their game I just...
