Very nice place to eat, although service was extremely slow. I waited over 15 minutes for my first drink. I had the seafood Paella, rice was cooked nice and the seafood mix went really well.

My daughter is a coeliac and as such I always make sure I check the menu for gluten free options she will eat, and call ahead... the online (Spanish) menu looked fantastic with much of the menu automatically gf. I then double-checked with the lady I booked with, who advised that the menu had changed somewhat but still lots of... More

We dined with friends. We all ordered the January special. The portion size generous and food was delicious. We would definitely dine here again.

As we were staying at the Amora Jameson Hotel and it was a very hot day in Sydney we decided to stay in and dine at Charr. There was only one other table of diners so the service was very good. The waitress was very nice and was helpful when we were ordering our meals. Our dinner choices of paella... More

The first thing to do when visiting Charr is to find the entrance. The door looks like a cupboard door and we weren't the only ones to wander past and need to ask how to get in! Once in the room is nicely decorated but dark, especially at lunchtime on a sunny winters day. The service was friendly and helpful,... More

Good menu, great service, much better than neighbouring restaurant. Not open Monday or Tuesday. Try the paella!

For a quite restaurant service wasn't good. Par baked bread rolls i wasn't expecting and food was lacking in love.and flair . For the same price i would have gone in to the Morrison on George street and would be happier after this experience

Poor quality, poor service, terrible compared to MoVida in Surry Hill, the only good thing about the night was the wine.

Food was ok, but not special. It is supposed to be a Spanish restaurant, but certainly doesn't give off a good vibe. Nice and clean, friendly wait staff. The food was tasty enough and definitely ok but next time in Sydney would not be bothered to return.

Staying in Central Business District

Neighbourhood Profile
Central Business District
The Sydney Central Business District is abuzz with energy. Power brokers run to and from high rise buildings and after-work drink places, high-end shoppers tour venues like the QVB, and fine diners frequent the many celebrity chef restaurants. For a dose of culture, walk to the NSW Art Gallery, or visit the Sydney Museum. To escape the hustle and bustle, reconnect with nature at the Sydney Botanical Gardens or picnic lunch at High Park. No matter your interest, be sure to check the full calendar of events hosted by the city, from the Sydney Festival in January to October’s Good Food Month at Hyde Park.
