Googled Greek restaurants in the CBD of Sydney for an emergency visit to the big smoke. Great atmosphere and decor. Entree was much nicer than the main meal. Quite prepared to give it a second chance.

Food was delicious. I had my best margarita in Sydney. Also the sweet which I don't know how to spell the name. It's so Greek to me but something starts like galacto which has custard in it. If you ask the wait staff they will...More

Three of us had three dishes and one dessert and three bottles of drink. They have nice environment, good service and delicious food. The food is not too expensive. We only spent around AUs40-50 per person I think.

Look for the sign on Pitt street. Restaurant is below street level. A good size with table cloths and very nice servers. Very nice ambiance. Extensive menu and specials. Seafood, Mezzes, traditional greek dishes. I had the Mousaaka for 21.90 AUD. Tasty.

I fondly remember visiting Diethnes in the 1970s, then as a poor university student it was a real treat to eat reasonably priced good food on a special night out. So when we visited this month the expectation was that we would enjoy a similar...More
