Coldest beers, generous meals and a chilli jam that will knock your socks off! Super friendly staff that are polite and clearly enjoy working here! Will definitely return!!

Although I've dined st Macchiato for breakfast, dinner was vibrant, relaxed and delicious. If you're in this part of Sydney, this cafe, with its jazz and reliable Italian menu won't disappoint. A mid-week must.

Was really looking forward to dining at this restaurant as had heard such great things! Risotto was enjoyable but seafood serving very small and certainly not value at $28. Desserts in the cabinet looked a little tired, so we left feeling disappointed.

This is the 3rd time we have visited. Twice in two days. The pizza is delicious, thin crust and thicker crunchy ends and a beautiful wood fire oven taste. Tonight we also had the Mushroom Gnocchi and Salt and Pepper Squid. Also delicious. Our go to place when we are visiting Sydney

We visited Macchiato twice on a recent trip to Sydney. All of our choices were good. On our first visit, we sat facing the kitchen which proved to be very interesting. This is a busy place and almost everything is top notch.

I spent 18 months in Sydney for work and Macchiato's was my go to place when I didn't know where I wanted to go for dinner. The food is amazing - the seafood and the pizza's are amazing. In the last 6 months I noticed that the service started to get a little slower, but the quality of the food... More

Not a bad place, the menu is diverse and has a good selection of pizzas and pastas. We ordered to Ragu w papadelle and also this pizza w prosciutto. The pasta was could be salted a little bit more but the pizza was perfect in its crust and toppings. Not a bad place to hang W friends during lunch

My son and I enjoyed a Sunday breakfast here when we were in Sydney for a weekend holiday recently. The menu is extensive. My son had Eggs Benedict and I had the Full Breakfast, both of which were tasty and well presented. We each enjoyed a very good Iced Coffee. We were staying in Goulburn Street, so it was well... Staying in Central Business District

Neighbourhood Profile
Central Business District
The Sydney Central Business District is abuzz with energy. Power brokers run to and from high rise buildings and after-work drink places, high-end shoppers tour venues like the QVB, and fine diners frequent the many celebrity chef restaurants. For a dose of culture, walk to the NSW Art Gallery, or visit the Sydney Museum. To escape the hustle and bustle, reconnect with nature at the Sydney Botanical Gardens or picnic lunch at High Park. No matter your interest, be sure to check the full calendar of events hosted by the city, from the Sydney Festival in January to October’s Good Food Month at Hyde Park.
