A busy pizza restaurant in the Rocks area of Sydney. Busy and buzzy with seats filled as soon as they became vacant. Always a good sign. Starters of prawns in garlic and cheesy garlic bread were generous, hot and tasty. A main of a large pepperoni pizza nearly defeated us but was very good. All washed down with a Rooster... More

This place have good Pizza, which was close to our hotel. It is reasonably priced in the area that it is located. I would recommend for lunch as you stroll near the Sydney Harbour.

We had a mid-week dinner here. Two of us shared a half crocodile and half vegetarian pizza and one had a calzone. We both agreed that the pizza was amazing, so much so we ordered a second, just as good. The other one had calzone which was apparently okay, but not amazing. We would definitely go back again for pizza... More

We had pizza which was undercooked, but still nice, staff seemed very stressed and we had to ask the waiter twice for our bill.

Enjoyed lunch at Zia Pina in the Rocks in Sydney. They serve basic fare Italian and the food is well prepared. Nice place to take a family with kids if craving pasta or pizza. Location is great - right on George St. in the middle of the Rocks enter area. Environment is spartan and service okay.

After a long Xmas lunch, which was looking to extend even further, a few of us peeled off from the group and wandered into Zia Pina. Snagged a table upstairs by the window, pizza was fresh with the right amount of topping. We were not rushed, and the atmosphere provided a memorable end to a good day.

The sign of a good Italians for me is always fresh pizza. Asking for a Calzone made up of any pizza on the menu and being told you can have that confirms that they hand make and cook as requested. This was the case last night. Exquisite chilli king prawn starter. Followed with no rush by the pizzas complimented by... More

Pizzas were great. Good taste, friendly staff, reasonable waiting time. There were lots of pictures on the wall on known people visiting the place.

Staying in The Rocks

Neighbourhood Profile
The Rocks
The first residents of the Rocks were convicts and sailors from the old nation. As the oldest neighbourhood in the city, the area's cobblestone streets host more than 100 heritage sites and buildings, including the oldest house in Sydney, Camden Cottage, which was built in 1816. Taste a “midi “ or a “schooner” of beer and dine “al fresco” on the waterfront at some of the oldest pubs in Sydney. The weekend markets at the Rocks are where you can find local artists' hand-made souvenirs, organic food and designer jewelry in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. To enjoy some of the best Australian and international contemporary art, the MCA museum is open every day and select evenings. At the end of a long day of sightseeing, be sure to save energy to dance the night away at the area's many late night entertainment venues.
