A lot of sidewalk restaurants here with great food and an excellent vibe. Its a shame that even on beautiful nights where it should be busy, there were not as many people as I thought would be here. Loved the area and great for just relaxing with friends over a drink or a meal.

On a sunny day there's a wide variety of cafes to choose from or to just sit at and people watch. In the evening with all the lights shining on the harbour its lovely.

The Cockle Bay Wharf dining precinct provides you with a huge choice of dining options from high end 5 star to casual. Cuisine choices abound and there are plenty of cocktail bars as well. This area has some re-development going on at the IMax theatre end during 2017.

A hive of activity with plenty of amazing food and drink deals. This includes happy hours and meal deals. The choice and competition keep prices cheap for Sydney. Its busy all day meaning that you can eat and drink when you want.

You can pick from a diverse range of restaurants and clubs. Weekend evenings are crowded. Especially in summers. Dont miss this place if you are looking for a good grub.

A very high energy place at the end of Darling Harbor. Filled with eateries of all nationalities, nice atmosphere, and good walking along the wharf. I would not slight anyone there, so walk around and find a meal that meets your liking.

Very buzzy area with a relaxed and friendly feel to it. You would never go hungry here with the choice of so many restaurants and the prices seem to be very competitive. Enjoyed my walks around.

Staying in Central Business District

Neighbourhood Profile
Central Business District
The Sydney Central Business District is abuzz with energy. Power brokers run to and from high rise buildings and after-work drink places, high-end shoppers tour venues like the QVB, and fine diners frequent the many celebrity chef restaurants. For a dose of culture, walk to the NSW Art Gallery, or visit the Sydney Museum. To escape the hustle and bustle, reconnect with nature at the Sydney Botanical Gardens or picnic lunch at High Park. No matter your interest, be sure to check the full calendar of events hosted by the city, from the Sydney Festival in January to October’s Good Food Month at Hyde Park.
