While they were very good, this was the most expensive plate of chips I've ever had. Quick service and plenty of seating.

GPO Oyster Bar offers casual dining. You order at the counter then collect your meal when it's ready. We had tempura fish & chips and tempura prawns& chips, both served with leafy salad. The seafood was good and fresh, but we found the meals rather greasy with too much oil absorbed into the tempura batter and the chips. The meal... More

I always trust their food, any time ive ordered their rainbow trout, it has been tasty and a big portion (with lovely salad and fries). And when at the GPO for drinks, i normally get their fries and calamari. I'm not normally a calamari fan but these have to be the best and freshest ive ever had!

When looking for a quick dinner in the Sydney CBD we chanced on the GPO eateries. Initially we were going to have pizza but then decided the seafood looked great and was reasonably priced. My grilled barramundi with a side serving of salad and chips was fresh and tasty and hubby enjoyed his salt and pepper calamari. With a couple... More

We only ever have the grilled barramundi which comes with the freshest salad leaves you'll find anywhere (including your own vegie garden) and chips that are never oily or overcooked. The wine is reasonable and you'll always be greeted with a smile. If you don't mind collecting your own cutlery and the meal when it's prepared, this is a convenient... More

It's a happening place and for a quick lunch it's a great place to be and the atmosphere is always good, from the early morning coffee to your lunch time rush to the evening drinks.. Lots of different food to choose from and there a quite a few pop up bars to crap a drink.

We went here after we finished after work drinks on a Thursday night, we were planning to go elsewhere for dinner but the weather sealed our fate. Rain fell hard and fast. Not wanting to go far from Martin Place station and having our backsides uncomfortably wet we resigned to eat here in GPO. I have to say my food... More

Tonight I went to the GPO Oyster Bar for dinner. The service was shocking. First of all we tried to order the medley mixed oysters selection however they only had the natural selections!! They said "the Grill broke" and we are talking about an "Oyster Bar!!? So we ended up ordering just the natural oysters, the food menu was shocking!... More

We have eaten here for both lunch and Saturday night dinner. The food is always very fresh and extremely good. Fast and easy. Highly recommended if you want quality food at a reasonable price.

We went to this place as I was in dire need of an oyster fix. I love them any way you like but natural is always best. After reading up on this place we trudged along as it was quite close to our accommodation and it wasn't all that crowded compared to everywhere else in Sydney CBD that night. Well... More
