Great meal with lovely fish. Good choice of wines by the bottle or glass. Lovely outlook and fresh and lively. Would recommend.

Had a very yummy meal at glass. The organic chicken sounds so simple but it is a generous and delicious dish - the vegetables even seem to be caramelised in red wine and it's just yum. Went down a treat with a Pinot. My friend was also impressed that they stocked Chimay blue beer. Truffle fries also went down a... More

We enjoy dining out and when we selected this place with friends were a little wary.. a "brasserie" made me wonder a little about the quality of the food and how wrong I was. The service was good, not super attentive, but solid and the food was first rate and delivered in a timely, yet not rushed, manner. We all... More

The Glass Brasserie has been around for ages and wonderfully, the food retains its brilliant flavours and quality. The decor is still as shmick as ever, barely looking worn, unlike trendy places that tire easily. The food reads simply but the complexity of flavours and textures is fantastic and is quite simply, a delight to eat. Service is excellent and... More

Lunch at this establishment was a real pleasure, the location, décor and service was at the very high end; located in the Hilton Hotel, it is very well placed to attract locals and visitors alike. The menu was very well thought through and offered plenty of choices which reflected the availability of local fresh ingredients and presentation was near perfect.... More

Breakfast on a sunny Sunday served buffet style should be good. The venue at Glass is very impressive, lots of bottles perched precariously into the sky and views of the QVB through the window predisposes you to enjoyment. In the event all the food ingredients were ok but not breath-taking. The cold starters were thin on fresh fruit, cereals were... More

Staying in Central Business District

Neighbourhood Profile
Central Business District
The Sydney Central Business District is abuzz with energy. Power brokers run to and from high rise buildings and after-work drink places, high-end shoppers tour venues like the QVB, and fine diners frequent the many celebrity chef restaurants. For a dose of culture, walk to the NSW Art Gallery, or visit the Sydney Museum. To escape the hustle and bustle, reconnect with nature at the Sydney Botanical Gardens or picnic lunch at High Park. No matter your interest, be sure to check the full calendar of events hosted by the city, from the Sydney Festival in January to October’s Good Food Month at Hyde Park.
