Very friendly staff at this busy cafe. It's clearly popular with locals and tourists alike and when we arrived at 11am on a Sunday it was buzzing. We ordered the toast with kaya and the meatless toasted sandwich (mushrooms, roasted peppers and fetta). Really enjoyed the food and the coffee was great too. Good air-conditioning too so you'll be very comfortable. Cute little spot and can easily see why it's so well liked.

This seriously is the best coffee anywhere in the NT, as attested by the throngs that make the pilgrimage there. Despite recent renovations trebling the customer space it continues to be packed out on a Saturday morning. The menu is limited to just 3 Singapore variants, but they’ll keep you coming back. There is also a selection of croissants, muffins, sandwiches etc. staff are cheerful and friendly and move a million miles an hour to keep those coffees coming to the hordes.

I worried upon discovering my chicken laksa was adorned with florets of broccoli. Hardly traditional, I sniffed.
No need to fret.
The broccoli was fresh and crunchy, like the bean sprouts which, for a pleasant change, were mercifully abundant. So was the fried tofu. The chicken pieces, real and not that horrible processed stuff, complemented a base of 2 types of noodles and a delicately flavoured broth which was not overly rich or oily.
The “icing on the cake” was the slice of lime on top which was the miniature variety, not the ordinary one you get at the supermarket.
When a glass of cold (not room temperature) water arrived unsolicited at my table, I knew why busy and hard working Kopi Stop must be one of the best places for laksa in Darwin.
Attention to detail, that’s what it’s all about lah!

Great coffee!!
Clean, friendly service and the best coffee in Darwin.
There’s lots of tasty treats if you’re hungry and even some coffee / tea gifts too.
I’m a coffee snob & know good coffee (yes I admit I’m very fussy when it comes to coffee - this doesn’t disappoint!).
They have all the ‘good’ milks too (othe coffee snobs will appreciate this too 😉)
Ona coffee is the brand a small batch roast (Ona was my grandma name too so it warmed my heart to remember her fondly too).

Simply Darwin's best coffee. Simple but unique brekkie menu: Singaporean inspired congee, Kaya toast and soft boiled eggs, Laksa, toasties -- granola if you need to.
Worth coming back again and again for!

Coffee is from St. Ali, a high-quality Melbourne roaster. So if you are after speciality coffee, like me, this is the place!
The baristas provided excellent service. They even made a V60 filter coffee off the menu for me! I found it balanced and tasteful, not over or under-extracted, just exactly to my taste.
I also liked their espresso from Costa Rican beans.
Perfect start for the last day of my trip to Darwin. Thank you!

Yummy Asian food and awesome coffee. Wednesdays are a real treat as they have homemade wonton noodle soup on the menu. They were so good! Congee is also excellent. Plenty of choices including an excellent chai. The staff are so friendly and happy it’s a pleasure to be there

Seriously the best coffee in Darwin city. Service is exceptional, ambience matches service- clean, neat and fitted out by IKEA which is in keeping with the entire feel of the place.
Yummy tomatoes, cakes and brunchy food. We're here for the 3rd day in a row.

Beautiful cafe serving ONA coffee - as Canberrans far from home we were overjoyed to find a spot with our favourite coffee.
We ordered Kaya toast and the meatless sandwich and both were excellent. My first taste of Kaya for breakfast and now I’m hooked! Sandwich wasn’t the best value for money but still delicious. The congee looked amazing - I’ll try that next time!
But coffee was outstanding. Check out the latte art!

Very popular and high end and relatively expensive, but they made a mistake with the food order. They also sell some good coffee equipment and stock some interesting coffees. Plenty of staff on hand to help.

The coffee was good but expensive. I had to check the price as I e never paid over $6 for a t/a coffee. There were only 2 sizes small (macchiato size) or large (2 shots). There was also an extra large which leads me to think their large is a medium and extra large = large. I think I’m going to invest in a good coffee machine!

Hi Sienna, so glad to hear that our coffee was good! Our coffee beans supplied and roasted by ONA coffee are sourced in the most sustainable way, in collaboration with their ethical trading company Project Origin. Our takeaway sizes of 6oz and 12oz is to keep our coffee served consistently between dine in and takeaway and ensuring the ratio coffee coffee to milk is also consistent.
Coffee is indeed getting expensive as is cost of harvesting, processing, shipping, roasting and cafe costs. Just as every cafe and small business owners, we have been absorbing these costs and reluctant to pass this on but we simply cannot continue to shoulder this burden alone.
Please understand that our prices is reflective of our commitment to continue to deliver on quality and service. Thank you for your understanding!
