This is a great cafe modern and with a fabulous menu. We called in early morning for coffee which was a good coffee but we waited 20 minutes or more for two coffees. There were so many dirty dishes on the tables we had to move them so we could sit down. As it was a good coffee we came back at lunchtime as wanted to taste the food. We ordered smoked salmon latkes and green eggs with two juices. A big shout out to the chef she is amazing and her food is delicious. The tables were still full of dishes and this is the only thing that let the cafe down it needs some direction as the guys in the front seem a bit lost and no direction being given.

Nice modern space in the middle of Darwin CBD.. The granola was beautifully presented with fresh seasonal fruits and crunchy granola ( not sweet). Very satisfying and delicious. The StAli coffee was great and perfectly textured .

Had Sunday breakfast at this place. The food is really generous sized portions and great value for money. Had the big breakfast, eggs Benedict and bacon and eggs. The juices were really good also and mainly friendly staff, the bloke on the front desk was great. Their biggest problem is they’ll probably need more seating once word gets about.

Staff always make you feel welcome on arrival but disappointing to see a change of menu for poorer quality of food and smaller portions at the same price. Ordered a big breakfast and was told that scramble egg is no longer available (fired or poached only) breakfast has dropped the chorizo sausage and the amount of bacon per plate has been reduce to one small rasher, potato cake has also been changed for two small polenta chips with mayo. Portion sizes have decreased from previous menus and photos listed are very deceiving as they do not give a good representation of current food on offer. The flavoured milkshakes (e.g. Snickers and others) have also been replaced with only chocolate or strawberry. Would recommend for coffee but not for food.

came here for a coffee as it was advertising campos coffee and was pretty busy , took some people there the following day and waited and waited as it was public holiday ... tables were left dirty and staff seemed quite relaxed about it . food when it finally came out was ok ,the service lets them down ,felt stupid recommending to friends as it was an average experience to say the least

A bustling cafe with indoor and outdoor seating 20+ tables. Our drinks were delivered to a different table because they don’t use a numbering system. Later another tables coffees were delivered to our table. We ordered poached eggs and granola. My poached eggs were cooked perfectly but served to me cold because they were waiting for a server to deliver to me. We could see them on the pass for a good 8 minutes or more - eventually the chef noticed and brought them to me. Again, if they’d been hot or even warm they would have been amazing. I had a delicious juice and could recommend that! It wasn’t particularly busy, there were lots of empty tables and an abundance of staff. I would probably try it again but I have to say the staff weren’t particularly friendly.

We had a reasonably pleasant breakfast here, on a recent trip to Darwin from the United Kingdom. Whilst it was not our favourite spot for breakfast in this city (that accolade tours to the ‘Four Birds Cafe’), our breakfasts were enjoyable, though not memorably remarkable. The menu is quite eclectic, with some different items to the usual breakfast items you find on many cafe menus. These included the likes of toasted coconut bread, black sticky rice, Korean toast, Miso benedict, and salmon rösti. Our choices were the smashed avocado on toast, and the granola parfait. The avocado on toast was $18, and consisted of avocado with chèvre, sumac za’atar, some slices of pickled onion, a poached egg, and a smattering of jalapeño marmalade, on sourdough. The granola parfait was $15, and consisted seasonal fruits layered with mixed seeds, puffed grains, dried fruits and natural yoghurt. Both dishes were reasonable, but without any wow factor. The sourdough was actually tough, and the accompanying marmalade lacked zest. The menu contains a variety of options available for vegans, vegetarians and those with gluten intolerance. Our coffees - a flat white and a three shot long black - were good. The cafe wasn’t particularly busy and service was a bit slow; our dishes were served at different times. The restaurant is at street level so there are no accessibility issues for those using mobility assistance. Tables are nicely spaced. The cafe is centrally located in the Smooth Street Mall in central Darwin.

Visited here 4 years ago and had to visit again this time, not disappointed! The decor is very simple but the food was superb. Mum had a brûlée yoghurt with berries which she thoroughly enjoyed and I had the Rossi with smoked salmon and whipped sour cream, absolutely delicious! The fresh juices were excellent and the coffee great. Would highly recommend and don’t be put off by the simple appearance of the place!

The most delicious and amazingly presented breakfast of our trip. We had the granola and the Black Sticky rice - absolutely divine. So good we went back and had the same breakfast the next day. We also had the green juice and the revitalise juice both of which were delicious. All of the meals going out looked generous and very appealing. We had similar breakfasts at other venues and were left very disappointed. Rabbithole is definitely a must.

During Covid-19 pandemic TA only. Prior to the current restrictions I ate their big brekky most days of the week. Now... Not so much... It is awesome with avocado and spinach to go with the more traditional fare of eggs and bacon.

We had lunch here on the 18th July. We ordered a Ruben Burger and Karaage Chicken burger which were average the coffee was good. However the shocker was the amount of noise the dishwashing staking lady was making. Second shocker was how dirty the tea-towels were that one of the staff was using to wipe cutlery that came out of the dishwasher. I do hope the food handling in the kitchen was not an indication of how dirty the tea-towels were. Photo attached.

Cute little place on the mall with lovely breakfast and lunch and great coffee. Bacon and egg roll on brioche with homemade barbecue sauce was great and I had eggplant and green bean salad with an added poached egg. Beautiful.

In search of good coffee on the final day before flying out, we stopped here as it opened on a Sunday morning. Self-appointed Melbourne coffee connoisseurs should appreciate the coffee here. We had the Salmon Rostie and the Green Eggs. The first dish was a crispy feta and potato rostie topped with smoked salmon, sour cream, poached eggs and dill - fresh and wholesome. The Green Eggs dish was a variation on baked eggs - i.e. tomato/capsicum replaced by béchamel sauce with some basil leaves. It wasn’t very green. It was topped with melted cheese and fresh chilli. It came with sourdough toast and a little dipping bowl of tangy vinegar (?) , chives, onion and chilli, which helped offset the sauce. While it was tasty, it didn’t sit lightly in the belly. Lovely people running The Rabbit Hole and they’re doing creative things with flavours.

They have made some great improvements after their reno including; quiet blinders, more tables/ space and no more campos coffee.. We ordered the black sticky rice and coconut bread, both of which were delicious. The food is affordable, tasty and well presented. The minor negatives are; lukewarm coffee, slow(ish) service and lines to pay.

Sunday morning was really busy but did not have to wait long for coffee or food. Coffee hot and strong, salmon breakfast bowl is great for something different and healthy for breakfast and wasn’t heavy. Staff so friendly and helpful. Have been back and took friends. Big breakfast was exactly that and more. Will be going back for sure
