This is a popular place for a quick takeaway lunch. Mixed trays and seafood salads are my first choice.

Had lunch here recently and the food and service was great. Portion sizes of bento boxes are big and quality is really good.... I think a try is definite😊

Food was good but we went on a very busy night and there was almost nothing on the sushi train the whole time we were there. Our a la carte order was forgotten but came out quickly after we asked when later orders started arriving! I think we were just unlucky it was so busy.

I popped in around 8.40pm for a quick bite to eat after seeing a film at the nearby Palace Barracks. The female wait staff didn't bother to greet me and when I asked if I could eat, they were off-hand and almost rude to me as if I was a major inconvenience. The chefs were still preparing food but the... More

I visited with a friend for an early dinner before a movie. The food was terrific and there was a lot of variety on the train. I also had a miso soup which was great. The service was average, a smile and some friendly words would go a long way. We sat on the train along the back wall and... More

Sorry everyone, i couldn't avoid the analogy given a Sushi Train style restaurant. we had a variety of sushi. The small avocado roles weren't rolled properly: the seaweed didn't meet and hence they fell apart. Many of the others were either deep fried or had mayo. Not the fresh feel that i associate with sushi. When we sat down the... More

One of the only sushi trains I have seen around the area, and the positive reviews it has been receiving just show the clear lack of quality Japanese restaurants in the area. Extremely limited selection on the train, the food does not taste fresh at all, the only thing they have going got them is the cheap-ish prices. Even the... More

Didn't know there was a sushi train at the Barracks until me and 6 other colleagues came here for a birthday lunch. Upon entering we were greeted by the friendly staff, who sat us down and offered us their complimentary iced water or warm green tea. The place is abit small and ordinary, compared to Ginga Sushi Train at Southbank.... More

After a movie at the nearby Palace cinema we wanted to grab some dinner. Hanabishi Sushi Bar was still open so we popped in for a lovely treat. We ordered Goyza, Spring rolls, Karaage chicken, Okonomiyaki and for desert they have a smooth delicious Mars bar cheesecake. As it was late, all of hot dishes were prepared for us on... More
