This is now our favourite restaurant in Brisbane! The staff are all really happy and friendly, the booth style seating is really lovely, ordering is super easy, and the food is so good! Will be back again for sure.

We ate here for lunch today, the restaurant is nicely appointed, it is upstairs from the main st and as you go in it is like an Aladdins cave with many little booths, as you go further in there are some larger private dining areas...More

The atmosphere was good, situated on level 2 - initially had difficulty locating the restaurant. Uses an electronic ordering system, fuss-free! The salmon hot pot was great for sharing. Also ordered gyoza and sushi. Remember to make a booking in advance!

The food at this place has been in steady decline and they do not seem to know it. I asked for a slice of lemon and had to remind them 3 times before they brought me the thinnest slice and when I asked for more,...More

I always loved Japanese food. This one is highly recommended. A hidden gem in China town (fortitude valley) in Brisbane. Great food and the customer service is superb. I will definitely be back again.

What a place to enjoy delicious Japanese food. The staff are so lovely and the food is just so tasty. I have been many times and enjoy my visits very much. It reminds me of my visit to Japan. It can be very busy and...More

Their kimchi salmon soup is delicious and only available at dinner. It arrives ready to cook on your table. Likely the best thing I've had at this restaurant where food is ordered on touchscreens at your table. Reservations recommended.

My partner and I recently visited Wagaya as we imagined that it would be of better quality than what we found it to be. Essentially, it appears to be a fast-food Japanese restaurant. The novelty is that you get to sit in cubicles/booths which have...More

Great variety of food ranging from grilled items to ramen. Their tan-tan ramen is one of the best available in Brisbane. The experience of ordering your food independently through a touch-screen device will surprise some customers. Good news is that the restaurant is clean and...More

The most disappointing thing was they run a different menu at night than they do at lunch. Whilst it was nice to have sashimi and sushi, I wanted the grilled menu. When I asked I got a small menu compared to one one on the...More

Hi, a little late but I must correct the above reply. Firstly, there are 4 private rooms. Secondly, there is a room hire charge of $20, which must be paid by card upon booking and is non-refundable. Thirdly, there is no DVD... More

This is a newly opened restaurant. Last night was our first time at Wagaya, and we loved it. Good food, reasonable prices, and fun using a touch screen to order everything. Food and drink arrived within minutes of ordering. You order and eat at your own pace. Lots of options too if you don't like Japanese food. It is rated 92% on Urbanspoon
