I had a blast dancing and enjoy time with friends here , great drinks and staff I would recommend this place for small groups wanting a fun night out

For Melbourne Cup this year The Flying Cock offered two options, one was a package deal in The Coop bistro and the second was the option we went with. We spent the afternoon in the upstairs area watching the race on a big projector screen....More

2 parmies for $20 on a Wednesday, tasty and huge portions. Sauce was a bit spicy but great value. Get in early as it gets busy but no complaints about the food, service or atmosphere.

we went here for a electronic music event and it was a good venue for it. bar service was good and plenty of room to cut loose on the dance floor.

Pros: - no TV in the main room!!! - has a certain charm for Australian standards - food was ok - reasonably priced Cons: - still has some kind of corporate atmosphere

Table for 20 in the dining side of TFC. A couple of us shared the chips and wings which were spot on. Other guests loved their burgers and chips too. They have a happy hour which helped with the budget lol. Staff were extremely helpful...More

With free entry, live music and DJs til late we're the perfect place to visit from 8pm-3am on a Friday & Saturday night! We occasionally open during the week for major sporting events, Beer Yoga, Barre at the Bar and speciality trivia nights. The Flying Cock also boasts six flexible and unique function spaces, catering for small and intimate dining groups of 20, through to 500 strong parties in our exclusive upstairs live music hall.
