We went to this place almost at closing time so the place was almost empty, but the ambience was still quite good. The food was quite authentic, portions were good and the service was prompt and efficient.

The food is fantastic, my personal fav os the pork in soy sauce. Satay stocks are great too and everything is cooked really well. Service is good with friendly staff, it can be a little slow when it's busy but that's not a big issue...More

Description
Bayleaf Balinese Restaurant has been a well loved and highly regarded restaurant in Cairns for many years, serving authentic Balinese cuisine. This multi award winning restaurant offers a true dining experience. Head Chef Made Upadana was trained in Bali at the highly regarded bumbu bali restaurant and cooking school and worked along side Heinz von Holzen the master chef and respected food writer of the Balinese Cuisine. Our signature banquet menu the Balinese Rijsttafel offers a feast of flavours and is highly recommended.
