Stopped in for a quick bite and coffee! Coffee was un-drinkably hot, but visit was more than worth it for the potato topped pie! Just sensational!!

If you love a great pie with real meat and good pastry - go to Mocka's. There is an enormous range of different pies - we went for two - Chunky Beef, and Kangaroo with bush spice - both were excellent, well cooked, tender and...More

Superb selection of pies. Thai chicken curry pie was delicious and had a nice kick; pastie had good filling of meat & diced vegetables; brekkie pie was packed with bacon, whole egg & cheese

Visited initially for a coffee but couldn't resist temptation. We had great coffees made, really nice apple turnover, but most of all, the next batch of dark rye sourdough bread was just coming out of the oven. Anyone wanting the best bread in the region...More

These are the best pies I've ever had - both the pastry and the filling. They are worthy of the higher price for this very reason - the business is paying astronomical rent in port douglas and the quality filling for the seafood pies especially...More

We tried the pepper steak pie, nice but nothing to rave about for around $6. There are tables outside to sit and eat your pies.

Locally baked and worthy of awards displayed in the shop window. These pies have real chunks of beef and are very tasty. Always busy which is a good indication of good quality

I had my first Mocca's pie 30 years ago and the establishment is still going strong. Great tasting pies and pastries and must if you are in Port Douglas.

Description
Re-opening of an iconic Port Douglas pie shop which closed for some years recently. Was possibly the best known pie shop in Australia due to the unique meat pie filling recipe. Now re-opened by Nigel Quinn using the original and still secret pie filling recipe formulated by Mocka Cheyne and his mother Belle Cheyne.
