Restaurant has closed. This restaurant no longer exists as it was closed by the health authorities because of poor hygiene and dirty kitchen and utensils.

Chef Dong has replaced the Imperial Peking which was closed by the health authorities some time ago. Chef Dong is absolute rubbish. We had an expensive takeaway as a bit of a test. The duck was dreadful, three Singapore Noodles were the worst I have ever had.i won't go on.fortunately it was rubbish night.

We have been to Imperial Peking Restaurant a few times in 2013 and also ordered takeaways several times over the same period. The restaurant has had better days when the food was better. The food seems to vary in quality and flavour in the several times that we visited (Perhaps different chefs??), so there did not seem to be any... More

We dined here many times and found the food gone down hill. Our recent visit was a Tuesday night, it was rather busy. Totally under staff, only one senior staff had his smile on his face, the rest looked not particularly friendly. We know Peking duck is always good, so we tried something else this time. Two of us ordered... More

The food is always good at the Imperial Peking, I agree with other reviews that the decor is a bit tired. Their Imperial Crispy Duck with pancakes is a family favorite although last visit the pancakes and cucumber could have been doubled to go with our half a duck.

We live close- by, so we frequently go to this restaurant. Our second last experience was on a Sunday evening. The food served, were the remnants of the day's yam cha. when we complained the waiter without fuss took it away and replaced it with fresh food. Our second and last visit was on sunday 11/8 to fairwell our parents... More

Thought we would try again. Food even worse. Shredded beef was as hard as rocks. Not sure how many times it was deep fried. Very shabby now. It does not look like it has been refurbished snce the late eighties when we first went there. Very expensive. Much better restaurants in Adelaide than this one. It is a pity because... More

This placed used to be one of the best chinese restaurants in Adelaide but no longer the case. Food was ok but the private room we are sitting in plus the main dining hall really need a facelift in my opinion.

The Imperial Peking is my favourite Chinese restaurant in Adelaide and it serves my favourite dish - their satay beef. It ispresented in a flaming foil wrap - quite unique and highly flavoured. We also enjoyed the sweet and sour chicken. The banquet menus look goo too. My only criticism is that the wait staff seem to focus their attention... More

Our relatives treated us to dinner at this restaurant. We had a banquet, which was not on the menu. My aunt called them and I think she specifically told the manager what she wanted in the banquet (I didn't see the menu, but my mum did and she couldn't see a lot of the dishes we had). We started with... More
