Rigoni's has been a favourite Italian restaurant for many years - started by Caon family and run with great success for many years - never disappointing their diners -eventually selling - went downhill and now back to again being a great restaurant under current management. It is stylish in decor, white tablecloths, daily specials on blackboards and wait staff nicely... More

I was always a fan of this place but alas my experience here will be the last time i dine here. I was with an Italian friend and we both agreed that any resemblance to the excellent meals enjoyed here in the past and the present incarnation are poles apart. For a start a martini served with kalamatta olives just... More

We came across this place when looking primarily for a drink on our arrival in Adelaide. They were able to slot us in with a table outside for what proved to be a very good meal. We both started with scallops, followed in my case with spaghetti 'tutto mare' which was pretty tasty. We accompanied the meal with a bottle... More

We were on holidays so the pace is always more relaxed and you find beauty in things you may otherwise miss. Rigoni's Bistro is one of the those lovely places that should be appreciated (and I'm sure it is) but we walked in for breakfast and appeared to be the only people not in business suits. We were warmly welcomed,... More

Thought I'd treat myself to an upmarket restaurant while I was in Adelaide. Service was fine but the ciabatta with olive spread and prosciutto mushroom risotto were heavily over-salted and just edible. Disappointing. And the price just added insult to injury.

We have dined at Rigoni for breakfast and dinner several years now, always in January. Breakfast is consistently good, thanks in large part to the quality service of front of house guy Anthony. So breakfast is great. Just a pity they won't open Saturday. Why is that? Dinner was a different story. Whilst the food was great, when it eventually... More

Order specials, only to be told specials not available. And by the way the pumpkin Gnocchi on the menu is not available in pumpkin but available in potato. Don't get the chiabbatta. 5 of us get cold ciabatta. Bakers delight better... Overall very expensive and rather bland. Brunellies Cafe around the corner the night before was much better..

I'm a creature of habit and I have a couple things I generally get at Rigonis. The carbonara is amazing for example. Do yourself a favour and try the specials though - I've never been disappointed.

The service was great and even on a Tuesday night there was plenty of experienced staff around. The menu was fine even though a few more diversified dishes could help. We were happy with the food we ordered from menu though. We also ordered a swirly type pasta with nap n eggplant n ricotta that could be better. Lack of... More

We turned up on spec on the Friday evening before Christmas and ended up sitting at the bar (a bit too cold outside!) for our meal. We anticipated a fairly long wait as the place was packed out with large groups but the wait wasn't too long. Meatballs, gnocchi and desserts were all very good. Gnocchi was the star of... More
