As you arrive at the cafe first visit the shed to the left, here they have tanks with the Marrom that are waiting to go into the restaurant. We got there at the perfect time - there was no body else there. We tried several different wines and the person what was doing the wine tasting then walked with us... More

Very interesting visit, very informative and also great conversation with the owner. We tasted the sauces which were nice and also the wine which we could take to lunch in the cafe. The food in the restaurant was delicious and the staff very friendly. Enjoyed the visit thank you.

The marron was delicious but we were the only table in a huge restaurant. This somehow made it seem less enjoyable.

The marron farm on Kangaroo Island was an interesting visit. We wanted to purchase marron for our dinner however, due to a shortage of stock, this was not possible so we opted to have a lunch of marron at the cafe. So pleased we did as it was delicious! Baked in the oven and served simply but beautifully with salad... More

Fabulous food, local products and wine and once again a lot of passion for the product. Can highly recommend the platter for 2.

Have never eaten marrons. Very glad I did, because I will not have them again. Paying about $70 for a plate of salad and three skinny marons I was glad that I was sharing with my partner who ordered the garlic prawns at half the price. The prawns were delicious. Good atmosphere in the restaurant.

Fantastic place to eat. Service was excellent and very friendly. We had a little tour of the marron farm and found it very interesting and even selected a very nice bottle of wine. It's was so good we went back twice 😘

A bit expensive and matron a bit bland for my taste - the cafe itself was nothing special but the staff were friendly.

The explanations about the marron farm were most informative, the wine tasting was great (we bought some and they freighted it for us), the staff were wonderful, the presentation was nice, but the actual food was underwhelming and expensive. Would recommend the experience, but just buy a small serving in the restaurant to try before lashing out.

Thank Paul T
