While perhaps the furniture is a bit outdated and the restaurant a bit dark, the food tastes like home cooking and the staff are so friendly. If you want Chinese food that makes you feel warm and fuzyy inside, this is it! BYO as well.

We ordered take away which was ready quickly and piping hot when we got it home. Fried dim sims (bit hard/over cooked), honey chicken; (great chicken, honey sauce bit unusual), Szechuan combination (great) and fried rice (good). Seventies style decor including net curtains and carpet. Friendly counter staff. We'd be happy to return ;)

Was looking for a place for dinner in the area & no one else appears to be opened except this Chinese restaurant. The place looks a little too cheesy for me. Had a taste of China here with the very generous helping of salt in every dish. Eat here if you can’t find anywhere else.

This has been around for absolute years! And the reason for that is because it is the best Chinese around. So fresh and clean, so much flavour and choice on the menu!. Well priced and good portions. I would say it has possibly the worlds best chicken and corn soup and chicken spring rolls!. Once you have had Chinese here... More

This little gem of a restaurant never disappoints. Little has changed over the last 40 years or so - the decor, the menu or the owners. The food is always tasty, well cooked and fresh. I had a take-away of king prawns in tomato sauce and the container was chock-a-block with prawns (there must have been 20 all up), fresh... More

This place is straight out of my 80's childhood, right down to the vinyl place mats! I love eating in with a bunch of mates around a lazy Susan. The food is classic, well made, great ingredients, well sized serves, great service and the byo corkage minimal. Take aways are quick and to standard. The home made dim sims and... More

My family and I regularly enjoy take away Chinese from King Wah, at least once a fortnight. Friendly and fast service with high quality food. Particularly enjoy the combination chop suey. Highly recommended.
