My only regret is not finding this great little restaurant sooner than I did! It may be a small space but it packs a big punch...owner, chef, atmosphere and especially the food are all fantastic. Everything is so fresh and they are happy to 'tweak' a dish to your liking. You can miss it in amongst the other shops so... More

First time at this Café and wow all the dishes we ordered were so nice. The Crab meat Fried rice is the best I ever had, the stir fry Drunken noodles and Pad Thai Prawns dish were so yummy that definitely will go back to try other dishes.

We started with the dim sims du jour - shitske mushrooms salmon and ginger - and they were beautiful. Main courses excellent especially the massaman curry. Ivory Cafe is well... More

If you want beautiful good sized fresh food then this is a place you can't go past. It is a small restaurant that offers big value for money. Great food and service every time, guaranteed. Give it a try you won't be disappointed. Try the Stir Fry Pork with Ginger (this one is eat in only but absolutely delicious).

It's getting harder to get in to this little restaurant on Elizabeth Street. No wonder, the food is great, the service with a little sass from the sparky woman who runs it with her husband. This hard working couple manage to keep the food coming, and when it's busy you may have to wait, but wow, it's worth it. Traditional... More

We dropped in for dinner and enjoyed the freshly prepared food and attentive service. We can recommend the verge curry puffs, crispy pastry and nice texture to the filling. Then the chicken satay sticks were very generous in size and super moist breast fillet. Instead of stir fry ginger chicken we asked for prawns, this was no problem, and another... More

While in Hobart in Jan 17, we had dinner at the Ivory Café, loved our Experience, it was a Monday night. full house and the poor waitress struggled to keep up. But the Food was worth the wait.

A small place with limited menu but great food and service. Highly recommended. Its easy to miss as their sign is really small so do pay attention.
