Ate dinner here on 20/11/16. The food was delicious and the portions were generous. The Okonomiyaki pancake (a vegetable pancake topped with a Japanese sauce and Japanese mayonnaise) was amazing.

Friends and family have all been converted to dining here. When I meet with others in the city, Yoyogi's is on the top of the list to go to. You will never leave hungry and with a wide menu selection, you will never tire of the same food. It helps to book ahead if you can as this restaurant can... More

We have been eating at Yoyogi over many years when visiting Melbourne. Menu is extensive, inexpensive and keeping the quality and taste. Servis is prompt and location is very convenient. Highly recommended!!

nice, tidy and strategic place, have variation of menu from ramen, udon, sushi and some other japanese dish. Price is average. The taste is mild not to strong. The service is quite good.

Sushi varieties were great as that was what I was after but they did have other things on the menu that looked good going out to other customers. Staff were very friendly and prices reasonable. Right in the heart of Melbourne.

This is Sushi if Sushi was a Manga character that was abducted at a very young age and made to work at McDonald's. Prices are cheap-ish, quality is consist, service is fast no matter how crowded, but nothing special in any shape or form. If you are after a quick and reasonably priced meal around CBD, and tired of fast... More

Travelled to Melbourne for a few days. Decided to pass by Yoyogi on our way to the airport. The service was quite good, the waitress welcomed us the moment we were in the restaurant. Ordered the tempura, eel rice bowl, and assorted sashimi. Extremely quick only took about 5 minutes to reach our table. However, the sashimi is super thin... More

Have been to this cafe a few times for a quick, cheap bite to eat. The range is good and the meals are quite large and you can eat and run in a short space of time. This is by no means a dining experience but the Japanese equivalent of something akin to McDonalds, It is clean and the staff... More

We bought sushi pack and hand roll, the rice is very hard, dont taste nice at all. We also had beef don, the beef is overcooked, and soggy. However, the dumpling is good, juicy.

Staying in Central Business District

Neighbourhood Profile
Central Business District
Full of discovery and delight, Melbourne’s laneways tease the imagination long after you’ve put your weary feet up to rest. They weave through the heart of the city: cafes, bars, restaurants and boutiques, throbbing with conversation and espresso coffee. You never quite know what you’ll find around the next corner: cobblestone alleys, old beer barrel hoists and even vats of simmering organic soup. There is the air of Berlin in the street art, a touch of Paris in the umbrella-shaded cafes and, reminiscent of Rome, eateries tucked away in the most unlikely of places. Perhaps you might want a break and cross the Yarra River to Southbank - walk along the promenade, bask in the sun at a waterside bar and decide whether to go to the nearby casino or book a ticket at the Melbourne theatre company.
