We visited this cafe for lunch before we went to a show at Her Majestys theatre. Staff were very friendly, service was good. It has Italian cuisine (pizzas, pasta etc) They also have sandwiches and deserts. It is suitable to bring the whole family with very reasonable prices.

Man .. a meal in itself. Lots of topping well cooked and very tasty ... as I was standing waiting for my... More

The food was so good and so cheap. I had a glass of wine, garlic bread and gnocchi and the bill was $28. Quick service, perfect b4 the theatre! Will definitely be going back!

We had Spaghetti Bolognese and Lasagne as entrée sizes for $13 and it was plenty and tasted lovely. We were given extra Parmesan to sprinkle as we liked. The main size was $17. We will go back again next time we are in Melbourne.

Came in at 6.45 for pre theatre pizza. We asked the waitress how long the meals would take, she said ten minutes. At 7.05 we hadn't been served, when I asked how much longer they said 2-3 minutes. At 7.15 we had to leave. Very disappointing start to a family night out.

Upon our arrival in Melbourne we wanted to sate our hunger after suffering average airplane food. We happened upon this cafe and shared a pizza and salad. We were impressed by the quality of the food and the service was very good.

A group of us; four adults and two children went out for lunch here prior to seeing Matilda and were delighted with our meals. Kids were happy with their pizzas, which was a plus, and we enjoyed Ours as well as pasta dishes and salads ordered. Service was good and waitress was friendly and understanding when kids accidentally spilt lemonade... More

Gross cheese and tomato sandwich, barely edible. I think it was those plastic wrapped singles cheese - from a place that sells pizza. Friendly service though.

Pizza and burgers were terrible but service was friendly. Soggy, greasy pizza and dry hamburgers. Not good.

Staying in Chinatown

Neighbourhood Profile
Locals know that Chinatown is the tried and true place to eat before hitting the nightclub scene. The place simply buzzes, and the well-preserved buildings exude a sense of Imperial China stemming from immigration over a century ago. In restaurant after restaurant on Little Bourke Street, you'll find delicious dishes such as sizzling honeyed prawns, and value for your money. Stately matrons oversee family kitchens serving up age-old recipes. The lighting may be unromantic, the patrons loud, and the service no-nonsense, but the food is sensational.
